Chimney Sweep Slot Review
Growing up which little boy didn't have a crush on Mary Poppins? Wait – None of you? Seriously? Ok, I guess I wasn't that normal… Because, I loved that movie and my heart would melt when Julie Andrews spoke. I remember proudly telling my parents “I wanna become a chimney sweep when I grow up!” To which my dad just seemed to frown for some reason… I thought my Mary Poppins fetish was long buried until I found out that Emily Blunt would take over the mantle as the iconic nanny this year. Here we go again! Reminiscent of that innocent era is Endorphina's video slot entitled Chimney Sweep. It's got the feel of England in the 20's or 30's and features an adorable girl who toils away in the chimneys. I found it refreshing to come across a game so innocuous and pleasant. Best of all it can bring the joy to your P.C, mobile device or tablet. It's like taking a trip to a forgotten time where hard work paid off and dreams came true (No longer applicable in this economy!)
Chimney Sweep is a medium volatility 5 reel and 10 payline slot. The standard symbols are a piglet, bluebird, horseshoe, rainbow, weather vane and 9-ace icons. The wild is the little blonde chimney sweep which can substitute for all symbols except the scatter – a fireplace. The controls are pretty simple: Up top, we find Credits, while the rest of what's needed is down below: Bet, Menu (including Paytable and Advanced Auto options), Total bet, Autospin and Lines. There is no Turbospin, but I promise you won't miss it.
After each winning spin in the base game you can have a double or nothing bet with your profits on a high card choice.
3 or more scatters anywhere activates 15 re-triggerable Free Spins, each with a 3X multiplier!
One or more wilds substituting in a winning payline doubles that win!
The maximum win in Chimney Sweep is 900 000 coins. Golly that's a big spoonful of sugar!
Only a grinch wouldn't like the graphics and animation in this game – it's all so charming that it's irresistible. The music fits well with the theme as do the ambient sound effects. I did encounter one small issue performance wise in that the first time I played it on a P.C, it went to a mobile layout. The second time it presented itself correctly. Apart from that small glitch, everything worked perfectly.
Chimney Sweep is downright adorable and I'm not afraid to shout it from the rooftops! With an astounding Free Spins feature in one of the most lovable themes I've come across, this one's a winner!
