Christmas Carol Megaways Slot Review

Christmas is the most magical time of the year - unless you’re a grinch like me. I don’t know why I’m not a fan of Christmas, maybe because it feels inauthentic? Like, I’m in the Southern Hemisphere so we have summer Christmases, not winter ones, and it kinds of just feels fake.

Gameplay

Christmas Carol is a 6-reel, 200,704-payline slot powered by software from Pragmatic Play. Symbols include various mythical creatures, such as a leprechaun, grim reaper, fairy, and more, as well as royal values from 10 to Ace. The Wild is represented by Scrooge, and the Scatter by a golden pocket watch.

Controls are located below the reels and work as follows: Menu, Sound, Info, Credit, Bet, Bet -, Auto Play, Spin, and Bet +.

Features

The Wild substitutes for all symbols except the Scatter.

Unique Features

The tumble feature means that every winning spin, winning combos are cleared and winning symbols melt away to make space for new ones.

Landing 4 or more Scatters will trigger free spins, with a variety of different combinations. The max free spins you can get is 23, and the max multiplier is 10x.

Performance

Christmas Carol is one seriously festive slot. It features gorgeous, animated graphics and suitably Christmas-y sound effects. Play it on mobile or desktop devices.

Max Win

The max coin win is 5000.

Conclusion

With big wins, a great free spins, mechanisms, and a unique payout-style, Christmas Carol is one interesting slot. Even a grinch like me can enjoy it, and that’s really saying something.
