Coin It Review

A couple years ago, my friends and I spent 20 minutes debating which restaurant to order from. Indian? Burgers? Sushi? Pizza? 🍕 Eventually, I just said, “Let’s just flip a coin.” And for one glorious second, everyone agreed, but because a coin toss is the ultimate equalizer.

It’s as simple as it gets and the rules are the rules. When I saw the title ‘Coin It’, which is the latest coming out of Quickfire, I thought to myself that this would be a perfect name for flipping a coin
 “Let’s coin it”. đŸ€·đŸ»

Not bad, right? đŸ€” It sounds cleaner, and it perfectly captures the feeling of leaving your fate in the hands of a germ-infested piece of metal.

Gameplay

The gold coins and the green gift box give the illusion a leprechaun is about to hop onto the screen. That doesn’t happen (sadly), but visually, it definitely scratches that lucky gold itch.

While it has the same quick-hit satisfaction as a scratch card, Coin It plays differently. Instead, you get a 5x5 grid, giving you 25 squares, each containing either a random prize amount or a special tile.

There are 3 types of tiles on the board:

  • Multiplier - Values ranging from 0.5x to 20x
  • Gift Box - Can randomly trigger the Coin It Bonus Game
  • Arrow symbol - Picks a direction and awards all values in that row or column
Each time you play, your bet is multiplied by 5x, because you get 5 drops. Press “Play,” and your “selector” bounces around before finally settling on a random position. All of your 5 values are then added up before payout.

If you press “Quick Pick”, you can decide when to stop instead of leaving it up to Lady Luck.

Should you not like the grid, you can change it for a new one up to 3 times per play.

The stats for this game are: a 96.10% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
, a low volatility rate, a 1,000x max multiplier, and a $100,000 max win.

This is a fiat-only game, but note that AUD, JPY, and RUB aren’t supported.

Features

Landing on a Gift Box can randomly trigger the Bonus Game, where all tiles are replaced with higher-value multipliers, up to 5,000x on a single tile. Press Stop to land on one of them and cash in on the prize.

Performance

Even though I didn’t manage to hit the top prize, gameplay was smooth with zero lag or glitches, so no complaints here.

Max Win

Players can bet anywhere from $0.50 to $100. The $100,000 max win is yours when you hit the 1,000x max multiplier on a $100 bet.

Conclusion

Coin It is for sure in the “quick dopamine” category of instant win games. With its low volatility, you can expect frequent small wins, occasional medium hits, and the rare moment where everything lines up and the balance actually moves meaningfully.

While official hit-rate stats aren’t listed, gameplay pacing suggests a high win frequency
the kind where you’re almost always collecting something, even if it’s not life-changing.

It lands somewhere between a scratch card and something like Aviator or Plinko, but without the “all or nothing” burn. In terms of engagement style, it’s close to other grid-based games such as Cash It.

If you're someone who enjoys fast rounds, clear mechanics, and low-risk value reveals, this one fits perfectly.

It’s not built for the thrill-seekers hunting volatile jackpots, but if you appreciate steady outcomes, consistent action, and the satisfying animation of a coin bouncing toward a multiplier, Coin It delivers exactly that, and does it cleanly, quickly, and with zero friction.
