Diamond Rush Express Slot Review
I developed a few allergies, but only in adulthood. I discovered only a few years ago that I suddenly couldn’t eat bananas🍌 or certain nuts like almonds 🥜 without getting an itchy throat and a burning in my stomach.
While playing Quickfire’ Diamond Rush Express slot, my eyes👀 got itchy.

There is another version of this game called Gold Rush Express slot and a very similar one called Grand Junction Mountain Express slot which I reviewed almost a year ago.
All three of these titles are similar in RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

When the game loads, you’re presented with a familiar set of reels covering a bridge’s scaffolding.
There are 5 reels with 4 rows and 20 paylines. Which is significantly less than Grand Junction Mountain Express slot, which had 50.
The gold train running along the track above the reels plays a part in the Rush Express feature, which I get into under the Features section.
The high-paying symbols here are gold bars, a sack of gold coins, a pickaxe with a gold mining pan, a shovel and map, and an old lantern. The Wild is this slot’s title, Diamond Rush Express.
There are special Rush Express symbols that include the red, purple, blue, and green Train symbols and the Gold Nugget symbol that payout during the Rush Express feature.
These rewarding little symbols appear on all the reels except 5.
The bets open at just $0.20 and go up to $50. This is a fiat currency only, with the exception of the Japanese yen and Russian ruble.
If you’re wondering, this is a high-volatility game, which means long stretches of dead spins and potentially bigger wins.

RUSH EXPRESS
There is a Bell and a Gold Train that appear on reel 5. Whenever one of these symbols lands with at least 1 other Rush Express symbol on the reels, you trigger the Rush Express feature.
The last Train symbol collected during Rush Express can award a multiplier instead of a cash prize that is applied to your total win.
The Bell symbol awards all the Rush Express symbol values instantly when it lands.
The Gold Train symbol collects all the Rush Express symbols to the Gold Train above the reels, where it takes off, and every carriage awards the total up to 10 times.
DIAMOND MULTIPLIERS
The Diamond symbols in this game carry either 2x, 3x, or 5x multipliers. They only land on reels 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Activating the Rush Express feature applies the Diamond Multiplier to all the Rush Express symbols.
The Diamond Multipliers are collected by the Gold Train above the reels. Once you’ve collected 100 or more, the Free Spins round is upgraded to Diamond Free Spins.
FREE SPINS
You need to land 3 Scatter symbols to trigger 10 Free Spins. During Free Spins, the Rush Express feature is triggered more often, but Diamond Multipliers aren’t collected.
DIAMOND FREE SPINS
When you’ve collected 100 or more Diamond symbols, you’ll trigger this feature when 3 Scatter symbols land. During this feature, a Bell or Gold Train symbol is guaranteed to land on reel 5 every spin.
Sadly, once the Diamond Free Spins are triggered, the number of collected Diamond symbols is reduced by 100. Therefore, the number of times you can trigger Diamond Free Spins is limited.
PICK FEATURE
The game can randomly trigger the Pick feature whenever a Gold Nugget symbol lands on the reels.
You’re presented with 15 gold nuggets, which you tap to reveal one of the Jackpot icons. You need to uncover 3 matching icons to win the corresponding prize.
Unfortunately, you can only trigger the Pick feature in the base game.
JACKPOTS
There are 4 rather enticing Jackpots on offer here.
- Grand Jackpot = 5,000x your total bet.
- Major Jackpot = 500x your total bet.
- Minor Jackpot = 50x your total bet.

Performance
I tested Diamond Rush Express slot on my Windows laptop and Android phone and didn’t encounter any glitches.
Maximum Win
The most you can win here is 5,000x your bet, which means if you’re playing with the highest bet of $50, you can win the top prize of $250,000.
The lowest you can bet per spin is $0.20, with plenty of options in between to suit anybody’s risk appetite.
Conclusion
There is little to like about this slot visually. It looks like it was made 20 years ago. Which would be fine if it had some features that didn’t feel like they were made up that long ago too.
The studio stuck with the gold mining theme but renamed Gold Rush Express slot to Diamond Rush Express slot, and the only reason I can find for renaming it was for the introduction of the Diamond Multiplier symbols.
The Rush Express feature is essentially a collector feature. It’s an overly complicated one, but despite being complicated, it doesn’t quite do enough to make me want to suggest you play it.
These days, random instant cash prizes are commonplace.
There are some rather handsome Jackpots on offer that can only be won during the randomly triggered Pick feature.
The Diamond Free Spins are your best bet to rack up decent wins, but it takes collecting 100 unused Diamond Multipliers to trigger them.
And once you’ve triggered Diamond Free Spins, the collected Diamonds drop by 100, potentially bringing you back to the start.
Personally, I think the Diamond Free Spins are just a tactic to keep you spinning.
