Dice and Roll Slot Review
Stop, Drop, Roll! Stop, Drop, Roll! I’m really not sure why that came into my head when I read this slot’s name. Like, I’ve never caught on fire while playing dice, so it makes absolutely no sense at all. You roll a lot of things, not just your body when it’s on fire or when it’s burning up the dance floor (see what I did there?). Turns out, Dice and Roll is just another fruit slot - no fire or body rolls to be seen here, folks. Even so, I dove into the slot with an open mind and a sense of calm - I knew how to handle anything.
Gameplay
Dice and Roll is a 5-reel, 10-payline video slot powered by Software from EGT Interactive. It’s a class fruit slot but with a twist - dice? The symbols include all of the usual players you’d expect from a fruit slot but with a couple of funky additions. The game has a wild, which is marked by big red dice hovering over the word ‘wild,’ and a Scatter represented by a large and in charge, red and gold bell. Other symbols are of a fruity-nature including grapes, oranges, watermelons, lemons, dates, and a lucky 7. EGT controls are always basically the same from one slot to the next, but I’ll give you a rundown just in case you’ve developed a case of selective amnesia. Directly under the reels, you’ll find the displays for your Balance, coin value, total bet, and wins. The spin button is located to the right of the slot and is marked by a big, green Spin symbol. To access any of the other controls, you’ll have to hit “settings” (a bit of a mission, I know but send the complaints elsewhere). There you’ll be able to adjust your coin value, ranging from 1 to 3, bet and sound. So keep these things in mind before you head into the game, guns a-blazing.
Features
You’ve probably played a slot with a Gamble featureThis feature allows you to gamble your current winnings. It usually takes the form of guessing what color and/or suit a facedown card will reveal itself to be. A correct guess on the color pays 2x, while a correct guess of the color and suit pays 4x your bet. before in which case this next sentence shouldn’t offer any life-changing revelations. To increase your winnings, you can click on the ‘gamble’ button, triggered after a winning round. All you have to do is guess whether the face-down card is black or red. Guess right, and you’ll double your winnings, but get it wrong, and you’ll be sent back to the base game empty-handed. You gambling ancestors will be rolling in their graves - so play smart!
Unique Features
Dice and Roll’s Scatter feature offers you the chance to win a jackpot of 2000 coins. All you need to do is land 5 Scatters on a payline, and voila! Although, it is definitely easier said than done. Jackpot Cards Mystery is a randomly triggered bonus, that is activated when a Jackpot Cards stamped game is played. Each of the mystery jackpots is represented by one of the four suits: clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts. You’ll have to pick 3 matching cards from a pick-field of 12 to be rewarded with the corresponding suits jackpot. Yep, I think that’s it as far as the features go folks.
Performance
For such an antiquated theme, Dice and Roll plays relatively well. The game doesn’t really offer too many surprises, but the graphics are good, and the soundtrack will get ya moving and grooving. The game performed well on all of my devices, without any lags or delays - so no complaints there.
Conclusion
For a game called Dice and Roll, it doesn’t feature dice all that heavily, but that’s probably my only concern. EGT has pulled the old fluffy dice out of the hat on this one, so give it a go! What are you waiting for?
