It’s quite rare for me to see the stars in all of their glory. Not for any other reason than that, I live in a city, and I’m usually in bed before the stars come out. No offense to any night owls out there, but late nights are not for me. That being said, there’s definitely something magical about the fact that when we look up at the stars, we’re seeing the same ones that our ancestors did. Take Ancient Egypt for example, I’m looking up at the same sky that Cleopatra would have. That’s right, little old me and the great Cleopatra essentially stargazed together. Alright, we may have 2000 years between us, but age is just a number baby. I’ve spoken about my love for Cleopatra before in other reviews, so I won’t go too into it, but we’re definitely soulmates - I have no doubt in my mind.
Gameplay
Egypt Sky is a 5-reel, 40-payline video slot powered by software from EGT Interactive. Before heading on down into the belly of the Great Pyramid, you should adjust your bet. Just trust me, it’s a bit of a mission to do it later. The symbols are all Egyptian themed, with the Wild being represented by an Ankh, and the scatter featuring the Egyptian landscape. Other symbols include a stern-looking Pharaoh and his female counterpart, ship on the Nile, Horses pulling a golden chariot, a Sacred Ibis, and basic playing cards from Ace to King. Like most EGT slots, the controls are relatively easy to grasp, but I’ll run through them quickly. From left to right: Balance display, sound toggle, full-screen mode, Auto Play, Credit level, preset bets, home button, and last win display. If you’re wondering why there’s no “Spin” button, it’s because choosing and clicking on a bet will set the reels in motion.
Features
Most EGT games these days have a “Gamble” feature, wherein you can increase the sum of your wins. Simply guess whether or not the next card to be drawn will be red or black and you can double your wins, however, choose wrong, and you’ll be sent back to the base game, empty-handed and feeling like a bit of a schmuck.

You’ll then have to choose from a pick field consisting of 12 face-down cards until you find 3 matching card suit symbols. The corresponding jackpot will then be revealed. Keep this one in mind, because it can increase your winnings by a Nile. I mean, mile - stupid.
Performance
No complaints here. EGT clearly consulted the gods on this one because Egypt Sky works like a dream. The graphics are fantastic, the soundtrack provides an excellent background for the overall theme, and the game can be played on any device. Nice one guys! Congrats.
