Fangs Inferno Slot Review
Our bodies sometimes seem to be working against us, and it’s also the case with animals. The Babirusa, a wild pig 🐗 from Indonesia, has tusks that curve back towards the animal’s face. In some cases, the tusks can grow to such lengths that they can pierce the owner’s skull!
Deep-sea Dragonfish have needle-like fangs on their tongues! Payara, better known as Vampire Fish, have lower-jaw fangs that can reach up to 6 inches. 🧛🏻♂️🐟
Having teeth is helpful, just ask your Grammie when she forgets hers in the glass of water next to the bed. While teeth aren’t the reason for the title of Fangs Inferno slot from Relax, our objective is still to see if the game has a bite to it. 🦷
Gameplay
Well, what do we have here – an aerial view above some jagged rocks and snow, with bones and skulls scattered around. OK, I like what I’m seeing. This isn’t the norm, so you have my attention, Relax Gaming.
There’s a 5x4 grid with a horizontal row above and beneath it, but I’ll get into what that’s all about in the Features section.
This fiat-only game has 20 paylines, a medium volatility rate, and a 96.10% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.. The max multiplier is 5,000x, and the max win is $250,000.
Features
BLAZIN’ WILDS:
Fang the Dragon can appear on the extra reels, beneath or on top of reels 2, 3, or 4. If Fang and a Wild Dwarf land on the same reel position, Wild symbols will spread and fill the positions between them.
Fang can also carry a multiplier value of 2x to 5x. If the above happens (with the Wilds spreading), they’ll carry the same multiplier as Fang.
If Fang lands above and below the same reel, and he’s carrying a multiplier value (they don’t have to be the same value), plus there is a Wild in the middle of that selfsame reel, the Wild receives a multiplier which is the sum of the two Fangs’ multipliers.
Any Wilds above or below the middle Wild get a multiplier value, which is displayed by the Fang closest to them.
FLAMIN’ RE-SPINS:
Now, if 3 Fangs fill one of the extra rows, that’s when Flamin’ Re-spins come into play. You’ll get 3 re-spins each time you fill an extra row. Fang symbols stay put for the duration of the re-spins, and that means a better chance of triggering Blazin’ Wilds.
FANG’S BONUS PICK:
This feature comes into effect when 3 Bonus symbols land anywhere on the grid or on the extra rows. You’ll get to choose between Fiery Free Spins or Fang’s Mystery Prize.
FIERY FREE SPINS:
You’ll be awarded 9 Free Spins, and Fang symbols will stay put for the duration of the round. And the cool thing is that Fang’s multiplier values can randomly increase at the start of any spin.
Free Spins can be re-triggered (land 3 or more Bonus symbols during the round), with 1 extra spin being awarded for each additional Bonus symbol.
FANG’S MYSTERY PRIZE:
This option sees a treasure chest encased in ice get smacked by some hammers, revealing a potential cash prize which could be up to 5,000x.
BUY BONUS:
Paying 60x your bet lets you pick between Free Spins or the Mystery Prize round.
Performance
I experienced no issues while testing this game.
Maximum Win
Betting starts at $0.10 and is capped at $50. The max multiplier is 5,000x, and the max win is $250,000.
Conclusion
I am smitten by the aesthetics and animations of Fangs Inferno slot. It’s a stunning-looking game that’s really fun to play, but the question we need to ask is: Can it make us money?
Of course, the potential is there. Hell, you can score the max multiplier by using the Buy Bonus and opting for the Mystery Prize.
For the vast majority of us, this won’t be the case, so we’d have to rely on Free Spins with those multipliers. In the base game, you’re going to have to rely on Wilds with possible multipliers.
So yeah, there are possibilities, but for something more volatile, and with a max multiplier of 150,000x (I shit you not), there’s Money Train 4 slot from Relax.
The Money Cart bonus round is full of modifiers – and I do mean FULL – that can turn your bet into a windfall. There’s also a Buy Bonus and a Re-spin feature.
