Fat Frankies Slot Review

Introduction

In the world of knock-offs, nobody does it better than slot software providers. Forget Adidas/Abibas and Nike/Nice; I’ve been itching to try Fat Frankies slot from Play'n Go - a Bob’s Burgers TV show-style game with a whole lot of heart.

With food truck culture at the center of this game, it’s no surprise that you’re in for a decadent experience. I’ve been on a bit of a health kick recently, but my noble quest has had quite the setback because of the glorious array of junk on the reels.

So, let’s see what’s in store for us - imminent high cholesterol readings aside.

Gameplay

Fat Frankies slot has graphics inspired by Bob’s Burgers. The reels are bursting with colorful symbols and the Fat Frankies food truck in the background.

The sound effects add to the game's overall feel, with Frankie himself offering gruff shouts of encouragement from the sidelines. It has a standard format - expect a 5 reel set up and wins across 243 paylines.

You can expect a nice Autoplay feature, with fully adjustable bet and spin settings.

All the controls are located below the reels, with customizable betting options ranging from a measly €0.10 to €40 (hey, big spender). The maximum win is €240,000, triggered by the 6,000x multiplier.

The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. rate is pretty average, sitting at 96.2%. However, this game has a high volatility rate, so you could be in for some big wins.

Features

Despite its slightly goofy demeanor, Fat Frankies slot means business. It’s packed with many features, including Wild substitutions, Free Spins, and more.

Wild: The Wild is represented by a stack of cash. It substitutes for all symbols, except the Scatter and Star symbols.

Landing 3 Bonus symbols will trigger 1 of 4 features as part of the Frankies Special round.

Burger Bonanza: Only burger symbols land during this round. They’re sticky and award a respin each time 1 or more lands.
Flip the Tip: You’ll get 3 coins, which you need to try and land in the tip jar. Each time you do, you’ll get an extra coin, and the prize increases. One coin is lost each time you fail to get it in the tip jar.
Greasy Wilds: Adds 1 to 5 Wilds stacked on the reels.
5 Star Spins: You’ll initially get 10 Free Spins, but up to 20 can be awarded. When a star lands on the reels, it’ll increase the multiplier (up to 6x) and add 2 Free Spins to the round.

Performance

I tested this bad boy on my mobile and desktop devices, and it worked well. However, the game times out quickly, even if you’re just reading through the info, which can be frustrating. Other than that, it works pretty damn well.

Maximum Win

The maximum win is €240,000 - not bad for a modest food truck operator!

Conclusion

Is Fat Frankies slot a Bob’s Burgers knockoff? Yes, but that’s not a bad thing. The graphics and sound effects are perfect for the theme, complementing the gameplay incredibly well.

The highlight is the Frankies Special round and everything that comes with it. We’ve got a laundry list of features at our disposal - including Free Spins, Sticky Symbols, and Multipliers.

This one’s worth a try.
