Fire and Roses Jolly Joker Slot Review
Being funny can really get you far. Think about the funniest person you know - do they also happen to be your favorite person? Probably, right?
In medieval times, court jesters filled a pretty odd role. They were advisors and valued members of the royal court, and also frequently played the fool (no pun intended) to entertain the Crown.
And they were highly respected, as any good fool should be 🤡.
It’s probably strange to say that I have a favorite jester, but I do: Roland the Farter 🍑💨. The man, the myth, the legend 🙏.
Roland the Farter lived in 12th-century England and was known for his artful tooting. This oddly specific skill was reserved for special occasions only — King Henry’s Christmas celebrations 🎄.
He’d end his performance with a simultaneous jump, fart, and whistle, which is something I feel like I’ve done before. Like, I get frights pretty easily and my body has a mind of its own.
So, it’s fitting that this game is both Christmas and Jester-themed! Here’s Fire and Roses Jolly Joker slot from Quickfire — no farts allowed.
Gameplay
Enough about farts, it’s time to get serious. Fire and Roses Jolly Joker slot has 5 reels, 720 paylines, and is pretty much just a reskin of one of Quickfire’s earlier games. It’s quite basic looking, although the graphics are sleek and distinctly Christmassy.
The festive season is always a bit of a cash grab for slot developers, and I’m afraid that this game proves that. There is basically no difference between it and the original Fire and Roses Joker slot, aside from the graphics 🥴.
Even the lady joker standing to the left of the reels looks the same. She’s wearing Christmas colors now, but other than that nothing has changed.
The symbols are divided into high and low-paying categories. The high-paying ones include gifts, gingerbread men, Christmas stockings, and bells, while the low-paying symbols are represented by the 4 card suits.
Fire and Roses Jolly Joker slot has a maximum win of $250,000 and takes bets in any fiat currency besides the Japanese yen. The bet limits range from $0.20 to $50, the max bet comes in at 5,000x, the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is set to 96.01%, and there’s a very high volatility rate 😬.
Want to play on your smartphone or tablet? No problem! This game is fully optimized for mobile and desktop devices, thanks to the use of HTML5 technology.
Features
JACKPOTS 🏆
You can boost reel-specific jackpots by landing Jackpot Trigger symbols, which can guarantee the Jackpot Wheel. Scatters will increase the round’s starting multiplier, up to 15x, further boosting your wins.
The Jackpot Trigger symbols land on top of other symbols, and on all 5 reels. Each reel has its own jackpot: Mini, Minor, Major, Mega, and Ultra, awarding 5x, 10x, 50x, 200x, 1,000x, and 5,000x respectively.
FREE SPINS 🥳
Landing Scatters on all 5 reels spells out the word J-O-K-E-R, and triggers a minimum of 6 Free Spins. Scatters either grant extra spins or multiplier upgrades, and this feature can be re-triggered.
Performance
I tested Fire and Roses Jolly Joker slot on my iPhone 13 and MacBook Pro, and it worked seamlessly on both. This game offers seamless betting on any device, browser, and operating system. Nice 👏
Maximum Win
Fire and Roses Jolly Joker slot has a maximum win of $250,000 💸.
Conclusion
Alright, so, Fire and Roses Jolly Joker slot is decent, but it’s a reskin. That’s really all there is to say!
Just kidding. This game has its merits: starting with the reel-specific jackpots that can pay out up to 5,000x, and the Free Spins round. However, it’s pretty basic all-round; even the Joker mascot can’t muster up much enthusiasm.
It’s a good stocking filler, but Quickfire has better slots. If you’re looking for something Christmassy and lucrative, it’s worth giving this game a spin, otherwise you might be left wanting more 🤷.
