Fly Cats Dream Drop Slot Review
What do dogs, monkeys, fruit flies, and mice have in common? More than one of each species has been to space. The only feline to have made it into a space program was a Parisian street cat named Félicitte that was launched to a height of 97 miles above the earth in 1963. 🚀
Félicitte’s mission lasted 15 minutes and she was brought successfully back… only to be euthanized two months later so that asshole scientists could examine her brain.
But her likeness was placed on postage stamps and a statue of her can be found at the International Space University, which makes it all ok.
Why the hell do I do this to myself? In my defense, I was rooting around for some cool facts to tie into Relax’s Fly Cats Dream Drop slot when I stumbled upon Félicitte’s story. 🐈
OK, let’s shake it off and focus on happier things. And I promise you, it gets a lot better!
Gameplay
New York City is the backdrop for Fly Cats Dream Drop slot, and as the name suggests, you’ll see some uber-cool felines on the 40 payline, 5x4-reel grid. There’s the king cat smoking a cigar, one with a boombox, a graffiti artist cat, and a basketball one as the high-paying symbols.
When it comes to the type of money you can throw at this game, you’re limited to fiat currency. The stats read like this: 94% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., high volatility rate, a 5,000x max multiplier, and a top prize worth €250,000.
The Wild replaces all symbols other than the Bonus symbol.
Features
MYSTERY RE-SPINS:
You’ll trigger this feature when you land the Mystery symbol anywhere on the reels. Your job now is to collect as many of these as possible as they’ll transform into the same symbols at the end of the feature – which means more moolah.
The triggering Mystery symbol is carried over into the Re-spins and all Mystery symbols are sticky for the entire round. The fun continues as long as you add Mystery symbols to the reels.
STICKY WILD FREE SPINS:
Score 6, 8, or 10 Free Spins when you land 3, 4, or 5 goldfish Bonus symbols. Wilds will be sticky throughout this round and each additional Bonus symbol you land will reward you with an extra spin and increase the Sticky Wild multiplier by 1.
Any Wild that was involved in triggering the Free Spins feature will be carried over and become sticky. Wilds carry multiplier values of 1x, 2x, or 3x.
MEOWSERS:
OK, I made up the name of this one but I felt that it needed its own shout-out: if the sum of your wins adds up to 5,000x or more – which is the highest multiplier in this game – the game will end but you’ll be paid out the max multiplier.
DREAM DROP:
Relax Gaming offers its usual Dream Drop again, but this time it’s activated whenever you see a random basketball falling through a hoop.
The grid will now be filled with 15 spray cans which you’ll need to click one at a time to reveal what’s behind them. When 3 of the same Jackpots are revealed, you’ll be paid out the associated reward.
The Rapid, Midi, and Maxi Jackpots have a fixed value, whereas the Major and Mega ones are progressive Jackpots. The Major and Mega Jackpots will trigger before they reach a set amount and the Mega one is capped at a sphincter-tightening €10 million!
BUY BONUS:
Use the Buy Bonus to get into the Sticky Wilds Free Spin round for 45x your bet – which is a really good fee compared with most games. The number of spins you get will depend on the random number of Scatters you land.
Alternatively, you can buy a Mystery Re-spin round for 10x your bet.
Performance
Gameplay on Fly Cats Dream Drop slot was as smooth as the characters that adorn the grid. And it didn’t matter if I played using Safari or Chrome or switched between devices.
Maximum Win
While the theme of this game might be on the lighthearted side, trust me – it’s still based on solid stats. Betting at the highest stake of €20 (the lowest is €0.20) and landing the 5,000x multiplier will result in a payday worth €250,000. Oh yeah!
Conclusion
Fly Cats Dream Drop slot revolves around the Mystery Re-spins and the Sticky Wild Free Spins features with the added benefit of a progressive Jackpot with its brain-busting €10 million potential.
Adding two Buy Bonus options further helps to enhance the experience of playing this slot, and it looks decent on a mobile phone in either orientation. While you can’t minimize the Dream Drop banner on your phone to increase the grid’s size, I don’t think you’ll need it.
So, yeah – this is another decent offering from Relax Gaming that’s certainly worth a try! Do it for Félicitte. 🥹😭
