Forgotten Island Megaways Review
I once almost had a King Kong moment, except it was with an orangutan, not a gorilla. Remember the Ann Darrow, King Kong’s lady he kidnapped. After days of endless traveling and little sleep, I was so grateful to arrive at a hotel in Borneo, and I immediately hit the sack. Every hour on the dot, there was a banging at my door. Every hour I dragged myself out of bed to find no one at the door. The relentless banging continued, so I stamped to reception to complain. Are you staying in Room 8, they asked? Yes, I was. Ah, that’s Jimmy. Why hasn’t Jimmy been fired, I was thinking until I heard. “Jimmy, one of the wild young orangutans, he loves to play knock down ginger, always with Room 8”. Now, who could stay mad with mischievous Jimmy? Will Forgotten Island Megaways make you mad or mischievous?
Gameplay
Forgotten Island Megaways is a 6-reel video slot with an impressive 117,649 ways to win.
The Gorilla Skull is the most lucrative symbol giving you up to a 50x stake for 2-6 in combination. There’s an anchor, a lantern, a book, and of course A, J, Q, K as well as 9 and 10. There’s a compass Wild symbol, which substitutes all symbols except the Scatters.
Controls are to the right-hand side. At the top, there are the Settings, then 9 Dot icon, which gives you access to the Paytable and Help. Spin, AutoSpin, and lastly, the Bet Settings are shown as a Chips icon.
Features
The features have some great winning potential with increasing multipliers with the free spins and base game feature. The Cascading reels or Tumbling reels cause all symbols involved into winning combinations.
New symbols then fall into their places from random positions on the reels. Landing 4 Scatters will trigger the Free Bonus Spin.
Unique features
I love the King Spin bonus. Land 4 Scatters to trigger the Kong Spin to get a random multiplier.
Performance
Another high variance performance game with great graphics and an ambient jungle setting brought to you by Quickfire. Think natural rainforest and nature reserves.
Max coin
The maximum coin win is x7,000
Conclusion
Did you fall in love with King Kong, like Ann Darrow? I may not have fallen in love, but I did get transported away into what felt like the Amazon rainforest. It made me want to book a flight immediately and visit gorillas in the wild!
