Wizards, fairies, unicorns, dwarves and more are what you can expect from EGT Interactive slot, Fortune Spells. I’m a massive nerd, and anything even remotely fantasy-themed gets my dork jollies off. Like, as a child my mom had to physically remove the first Harry Potter novel from my clutches because it was the only thing I would read. It usually takes the form of guessing what color and/or suit a facedown card will reveal itself to be. A correct guess on the color pays 2x, while a correct guess of the color and suit pays 4x your bet.. Just guess the color of the face-down card on the screen correctly, and you’ll double your wins. However, get it wrong, and you’ll be banished back to the base game with nothing to show for your trouble. The Scatter feature is also pretty magical - landing 3 or more of them will activate 12 Free Spins with a special expanding symbol. At the start of the Free Spin round, one of the primary symbols will be randomly chosen as the special expanding symbol. It will then expand to cover three positions on its reel and pays in any place on the paylines. The Free Spins can also be re-triggered so 12 additional spins can be won.
Unique Features
Fortune Spells features a Jackpot Cards Mystery bonus which is randomly triggered when a jackpot cards' stamped game is played. The four jackpots are represented by four different suits: clubs, diamonds, hearts, and spades. All you have to do is pick 3 matching suit symbols from a pick field of 12 face-down cards. The assigned jackpot will then be awarded. Another feature to watch out for is the 5 Wizard Symbols feature. When 5 wizards land on an active payline, you’ll be granted a jackpot of 5000 coins.
Performance
The developers at EGT Interactive must be wizards, I swear. Each EGT slot I play is better than the next. Fortune Spells has fantastic graphics, with beautifully illustrated symbols, and a soundtrack that enhances the magical feeling you get from the slot rather than detracts from it.
