Freya Valhalla Queen Slot Review
As far as the old gods are concerned, I reckon Freya was the most powerful and impressive of them all. And the reason I say this is because one of her preferred ways of getting around was on a chariot pulled by cats. 🐈
Now, anyone who has had dealings with the feline species will know that getting cats to do what you want goes against their entire philosophy. In truth, they’ve been enslaving us since time immemorial! 😽
Any goddess who can get a bunch of cats to do her bidding is undeniably powerful and worth venerating. Hail Freya! 🙇🙏
This is Freya Valhalla Queen slot and it comes to us from Quickfire.
Gameplay
Hmm, OK, we’ve got something different going on here. I like it! Fire up Freya Valhalla Queen slot and you’ll see that the grid configuration is 3-4-4-4-4, with reel number 1 being made up of 3 large symbols.
There’s also a pretty cool soundtrack playing in the background that adds to the game's atmosphere. Nice.
On the reels are lynxes, an eagle, a neck torque (that Loki stole and which the gods’ watchman, Heimdall, recovered), and a green flower. The game has 8 paylines, a high volatility rate, and an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 96.07%.
You’ll play with fiat money (not the Japanese yen or Russian ruble, mind), and scoring the magnificent 20,000x multiplier could see you rewarded with $200,000. Not bad for a day’s plundering.
Above the grid is the Buy Bonus button but I’ll describe how that option works in the features section.
Features
FREYA SYMBOL:
So let’s quickly circle back to the symbols. You see, a large Freya can land on reels 2 to 5 at random times. In the base game, Freya can take up a single position, or she could be 3x3, 3x4, or 4x4. And scoring a win with the 4x4 Freya awards a staggering 125x payout.
FREYA JACKPOT:
If you land a 4x4 Freya on reels 2 to 5 and fill reel 1 with regular Freya’s, that’s when you’ll be awarded the 20,000x max multiplier. This will only happen in the base game, so that’s something to look forward to.
FREE SPINS:
Land 5 or more Free Spin symbols anywhere on the reels to trigger this round, with at least 1 landing on the first reel.
As for how many spins you get, that number equals the number of triggering symbols, but you can be awarded a maximum of 19 spins.
Rune symbols are collected during Free Spins and they pay out cash prizes. You collect these by landing a big Freya on reel 1, and the cash value is multiplied by the size of the Freya symbol.
When Free Spins kick-off, you’ll have a choice between Magic Free Spins and Battle Free Spins.
Magic Free Spins
Any rune symbols that land during this feature are collected in a circular meter to the left of the grid. Grab 5 or 8 different runes and you’ll be awarded 6 or 10 extra spins. You can be granted additional spins up to 20 times.
Battle Free Spins
The Valkyries symbol can appear on reel 5 of this round, and when it happens, you’ll boost your win multiplier by 10x each time.
- 1 Valkyrie = 2x
- 2 Valkyries = 3x
- 3 Valkyries = 4x
- 4 Valkyries = 5x
- 5 Valkyries = 10x
BUY BONUS:
You can avoid all the waiting and get awarded 6 Free Spins immediately and choose the Free Spin variant you want after paying 26.10x your bet. Which is so cheap, it’s unbelievable!
Alternatively, you can pay 35.30x your bet for Big Freya Divine Spins which awards 10 spins and a guaranteed Big Freya.
Performance
Nothing unsettled Freya Valhalla Queen slot – I jumped between devices and browsers with no issues.
Maximum Win
You can win $200,000 when you combine the 20,000x max multiplier with the $10 max bet (or you can bet from as little as $0.10).
Conclusion
Freya Valhalla Queen slot beckons all Free Spin enthusiasts and players who like a Buy Bonus that’s super cheap. And that’s most of us, I’d imagine.
The game also appeals to players who want something a little different to look at, and who enjoy an uncomplicated game. The latter makes it suitable for less experienced players with a taste for risk.
