Fruit Rainbow Slot Review

Pragmatic Play has opted for yet another fruit-themed slot as one of their new gaming titles for 2020. They have stuck to classic fruit slot mechanics with no extra features or free games, so don't get your fruits in a bunch if you expect that kind of gameplay. I'm not sure when I will reach my breaking point with fruit-themed slots, or perhaps I already have. I can't tell any more; one thing is for sure, though, these talking trees are hilarious.

Gameplay

Fruit Rainbow is a 5x4 reel, 40 payline video slot powered by Pragmatic Play software. Symbols include Card Suits Clubs, Hearts, Diamonds and Spades, Limes, Bananas, Cherries, Tangerines, and Strawberries. Special Symbols include the stacked Rainbow Wild and paid Diamond Scatter. More detail will be given in the Features section.

Controls are located at the bottom of the reels. Starting from the left, you will find a System Settings icon (3 horizontal lines), below that a Mute button, and next to that, an Information icon with the paytable. On the bottom right is your Spin button with Autoplay below it and Bet increase and decrease buttons.

Features

The features in Fruit Rainbow include the stacked Rainbow Wild and the paid Diamond Scatter.

The stacked Rainbow Wild can appear on all 5 reels and substitutes for all symbols, except the Diamond Scatter, to form potential winning combinations.

The paid Diamond Scatter can appear on all 5 reels and awards a stake multiplier win as follows:

3 Diamond Scatters: 5x your stake

4 Diamond Scatters: 125x your stake

5 Diamond Scatters: 500x your stake

Unique Features

Unfortunately, there are no unique features to this slot.

Performance

The lack of features in Fruit Rainbow doesn't say much for a 2020 released slot. But, the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is not bad at all. The design, animation, and graphics are crisp and clear. The volatility is medium and RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is at 96.53%.

Max Win

The max coin win is 2000x your stake.

Conclusion

Fruit Rainbow is not the brightest or juiciest of the bunch in terms of exciting gameplay, so if you are a feature fanatic, you may want to look elsewhere to satisfy your craving. Fruit Rainbow barely provides a sugar rush, and when it does land, it crashes fast. Here’s to the fruit-themed slot fans, I am going to cheers over something a little more exciting.
