I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, we have enough goddamn fruit slots. I get the nostalgia factor, but OH MY GOD please game developers, I beg you - can we get some diversity up in here? I promise I’m not a bitter old hag, I love a good fruity - it’s just that it can get a bit tiring reviewing the same thing day in and day out. Let’s be honest with each other, fruit slots are just straight up overdone. If it were up to me, we’d have stopped making them a looooong time ago. Unfortunately, it isn’t, and the game developer gods don’t care about me. Instead, they laugh in the face of my torment - how cruel.

Gameplay

Fruits Kingdom is a 5-reel, 10-payline video slot powered by software from EGT Interactive. It features the usual suspects as symbols, including lemons, oranges, cherries, watermelons, apples, olives, gold stars, and grapes. Fruits Kingdom does shake things up a little, featuring a rather regal looking Prince and his crown. The Scatter is represented by the gold star, while the crown acts as the wild. If you’ve played and EGT Interactive game before, you should be pretty familiar with the slots. However, I’ll run through them just in case you’re blinded by the royalty in your presence. Performance

Fruits Kingdoms’ performance is akin to its name, pretty damn royal. The graphics are fantastic, the soundtrack is engaging and utterly perfect for the theme, and it works well on every device. 10/10!

Conclusion

I know I was pretty scathing about fruit slots in the introduction, but I honestly really enjoyed this game. The graphics were fun, the payouts were generous, and the symbols were pretty sweet. All in all, I should probably just keep my big old trap shut when it comes to being so disparaging towards fruit slots in the future. They’re still a damn good time.
