Gangsters Slot Review

The most famous gangster of all time has to be Al Capone. He has been portrayed in more movies by the most actors than any other gangster of all time and its not surprising when you realize that he was the most powerful man at the time. In those days in the ‘20’s and ‘30’s his empire was raking in $100 million per annum. That is mindblowing if you have to inflate it to today's money. With all the people he killed he never got arrested for murder. The only arrest which finally took him down was for tax fraud. This conviction led him to be one of the first inmates on Alcatraz. Scarface as he was known, and a name he hated, led a violent but extraordinary life and had etched his way into the history books forever.

Gangsters are based on the life of Scarface and his crew. The visuals are very well animated, and I love that they have a sense of humor about them. The reels are set on a street scene. The gangsters on the reels are sophisticated thugs that like a good cigar and fine ladies while blowing cash on poker. The music is charming and typical of the ‘20's jazz club scene, Habanero has set the scene for this slot so well. In addition to all these great aspects of the game, there are a few good gameplay features such as a picking game and free spins.

If you use a laptop, mobile phone or tablet you will be able to ride along with these cool fella’s and hoodwink unsuspecting civilians into some great wins.

Gameplay

Capone and his familia mow their way through the 5 reels collecting wins on all 25 pay lines and as you would expect from the high flying mobster on the highest wins will pay into his coffers.

The reels are filled with Capone and his boys. Capon and his 2 henchmen make up the highest paying of the reel symbols. The dealer, getaway car, and gambling apparel represent the medium paying symbols. The lowest paying of the reels symbols are weapons, a bag of bribe money and booze and cigars.

Not surprising that Al Capone is the Wild and can substitute for all symbols except the Scatter.
A gramophone represents the Scatter.

The control board looks like old-fashioned wireless. Each button is a control that will assist you in reaching your ultimate goal, and that is massive wins. I suggest you visit the paytable by clicking on the information symbol as this is where you will get to understand how the pick game works.

Features

The bonus feature is triggered when 3 or more Scatters land during the base game. Any of the gangsters or dealer may appear on the reels.
If the 4 gangsters appear you will have the opportunity to pick one. Each gangster offers a different multiplier, and you can earn as much as a x50 multiplier.

If the dealer appears you will be awarded 10 free spins. All wins are tripled during this round. This round cannot be retriggered.

Maximum Win

The mob is giving you 76 050 coins to pay for your silence when you pay a maximum bet for them.

Performance

A charming, fun slot to play. The general atmosphere was of a gambling hall where all the who's who of the ‘20's underworld gather to kick back and spend all their dirty money on tables, woman, and expensive booze. The gameplay was good with great multipliers and free spins on offer.

Conclusion

This game will appeal to a wide range of players from real gangsters, to wannabe gangsters, chicks who wish they dated gangsters and to cops who want to capture gangsters. Another great game by Habanero, who seem to be taking the gaming world by storm.
