Genie’s Arabian Riches Slot Review
What would you do if you were given 3 wishes?🤔
It’s a question I expect from a 9-year-old. But since we’re looking at Quickfire’ Genie’s Arabian Riches slot, it’s at least relevant and not being posed at 8:30 at night by a kid trying to stretch and not going to bed for a little longer😁.
I honestly don’t know what I would wish for, because my life is pretty sweet. I really have nothing to complain about. So I think I would use my wishes to cure all diseases, create world peace, and eradicate poverty🤩.
Can you imagine how happy the world would be if all those things suddenly happened? It would be a utopia. And no one would know I did it. And before you think that’s selfless, it’s not😏.
If one of your wishes comes true, it doesn't matter what it is; you pretend it never happened, and you never take credit. I see how people are on the internet, and you know someone who invented some crazy take on it.
Even if I cured all disease, ended war completely, and made everyone financially stable, there are some lunatics who call for me to be canceled, thrown in prison, or dismembered by wild horses😬.
So, even if you win big on this slot, keep that to yourself. One of your wishes came true. And telling anyone will not end how you think it will.
Gameplay
It seems like every slot has to make their genie blue, like in Disney’s Aladdin and Robin Williams’ iconically portrayed genie character. It’s crazy to me how that evil corporation has influenced culture globally.
Disney will do anything for money, unlike Genie’s Arabian Riches slot, because you can only play with fiat currencies, with the exception of the Japanese yen and the Russian ruble.
Although they might be as exploitive as The House of Mouse, since the betting range starts at $0.20, which is fine, the maximum bet goes all the way up to $120!
Which is extortionate if you want to go for the maximum win of $240,000, which is only made possible by the best possible multiplier of 2,000x. For a high-volatility slot, that kind of win is pretty standard, but at $120 just for a shot, it seems too high.
Anyway, Genie’s Arabian Riches slot is a 6-reel slot with a Rolling Reels mechanic where winning symbols are removed, allowing the symbols above and new symbols to drop down and fill the gaps.
Which is nothing special to anyone who’s been playing slots for any length of time. But the great thing about this slot is that it pays anywhere. All you need to do to win is land 8 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid.
The high-paying symbols you want to see more of are a purple scroll, a red scimitar, green slippers, and a blue chalice.
There is no Wild symbol here, but the game does have something called Multichase Rolling Multipliers to help boost your wins in the base game and during Free Spins. I’ll go over this in more detail in a minute.
The game’s Scatter symbol looks like a genie’s lamp, which can land anywhere, and landing 4 simultaneously triggers Free Spins.
Lastly, the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. here is 96%. And not onto the features!
Features
MULTICHASE ROLLING MULTIPLIERS
During the base game, there are 3 multiplier symbols: yellow, red, and green. Randomly appearing orb-like symbols can apply a multiplier value ranging from 2x to 100x to your total win, depending on the spin they land on.
The Multiplier symbols do not leave the screen after a cascade and persist until the next spin.
When multiple Multipliers land on the same spin, they’re added together to determine your total win for that spin.
The genie can also randomly upgrade Win Multipliers before they’re applied to a win.
RISING REWARDS FREE SPINS MULTIPLIER
During the base game, if you land 3 Scatter symbols, you don’t trigger Free Spins, but it still benefits you because the Free Spins multiplier will increase by 1x.
This multiplier starts at 1x and can increase to a maximum of 20x, which, when you do eventually trigger Free Spins, is the starting total win multiplier during Free Spins.
FREE SPINS
During Free Spins, any Multiplier symbol that lands is collected, added to the Free Spins Win Multiplier and then applied to your win for that spin.
The total win multiplier and multiplier are only applied to wins when a Multiplier lands on the reels and a winning combination is created.
So Multipliers will only apply to wins when they are on the grid at the same time.
You can extend your Free Spins run with 5 additional Free Spins by landing 3 Scatter symbols. There is no limit to how many times you can retrigger Free Spins, but Scatter symbols do not appear often.
Sadly, the Free Spins Win Multiplier is not applied to retriggered Free Spins, and when you’re returned to the base game once your Free Spins run out, the Free Spins Multiplier is reset back to 2x, 3x, or 4x.
BUY BONUS
You can trigger a round of Free Spins with a 1x Free Spins Win Multiplier of 1x for 50x your current bet.
Or you can purchase a round of Free Spins with your current Free Spins multiplier for 50x plus 1.6x for every additional 1x on your Free Spins Win Multiplier over 1x.
So, if you have a 4x Free Spins Multiplier and are betting $1 per spin, the cost of triggering Free Spins will be 56.4x your total bet.
Performance
I tested Genie’s Arabian Riches slot for hours and 100’s of spins, and it didn’t falter once.
Maximum Win
The best possible prize here is $240,000, which you can win by betting $120 per spin and hitting the best possible multiplier of 2,000x during Free Spins. You can also bet as low as $0.20.
Conclusion
While Genie’s Arabian Riches slot only really offers Free Spins, the multiplier mechanic is there to boost your wins. And you will pray for those Multipliers.
The high-paying symbols’ values drop sharply as you go down the paytable, and the low-paying symbols award mere cents.
The Multipliers only apply to wins that occur when they are on the screen. And it’s the same during Free Spins, where at least there is a progressive Free Spins Win Multiplier.
When I first started playing, I was impressed by this slot. But slowly, the game wore down my favor, and I ended up despising how stingy the Multiplier mechanic felt.
You can end up with a Free Spins Win Multiplier that is well into the 20’s, and during Free Spins land no substantial wins with a Multiplier symbol on the reels to gain the benefit of that big win multiplier, and you constantly feel like you’re missing bigger payouts.
The Buy Bonus is seemingly generous, but for 50x your bet for 10 Free Spins, you’re forking out a lot per spin.
And if you want to play Free Spins with the Free Spins Win Multiplier, you’ve already spent money and time building it up, and the game charges you for it. What the hell, man?
Taking all this into account, I still actually like the game. It looks half decent and plays well on my phone. And your nose will be inches from your screen, sitting on the edge of your seat with your fingers crossed, hoping the multipliers line up just right.
I guess Lady Luck didn’t even give me a sideways glance while I was playing around with Genie’s Arabian Riches slot. I hope it’s a different story for you.
