Ghost Huntin’ Slot Review
I’ve never been hunting. Probably never will.
I’m happy to go out and shoot 🔫 some deer and collect legendary skins from giant beasts in Red Dead Redemption 2, but in real life, I save flies🪰from bashing their little heads to death against window panes.
I don’t just not hurt flies; I actively save their lives🪦.
Just because I’m a giant softy doesn’t mean I can’t have friends who go hunting.
But in my town, one third of the population are raging vegan hippies, another third are normal folks like me, and the other third are gun-toting red hued neck crowds who like to hunt.
Occasionally, these opposite ends of the community clash in spectacular fashion. Like the time my hunting buddy got kicked right in the sack by a tiny girl with dreadlocks after she overheard him talking about a recent hunt at a farmers market.
Violent hippies at farmer markets. It’s a weird world we live in. It’s so weird that the possibility of 👻 ghosts being real is not off the table.
I doubt they look like the Slimer-esque kind of ghost you see in Ghost Huntin’ slot from 1x2 Gaming, though.
Gameplay
Ghost Huntin’ slot is as close as a legit GhostBusters-inspired video slot without actually being a licensed game.
You play on 5 reels with 4 positions and 1024 ways to win. Above the reels, there are Trap positions that display a multiplier value between 2x and 100x, or 10 Free Spins.
Below the reels in the base game is a Ghost Hunter that moves between the reels.
There are 3 Special Ghost symbols that can appear on any reel.
If a Special Ghost Symbol and Ghost Hunter settle on the same reel, the Ghost Hunter will trap the ghost and award the bonus displayed on the Trap above the reels.
Special Ghost symbols don’t have a value and can appear on any reel, but only one per reel.
The high-paying symbols include some ghost hunting paraphernalia: a pair of goggles, a handheld sensor, and a ray gun.
This is a medium- to high-volatility slot with an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 96%. You can win up to €80,000 if you can line up the maximum multiplier of 4,000x.
You can play with fiat currencies only, with the exception of the Japanese yen. The betting range opens at €0.20 and closes at €20.
If I’m completely honest, this game looks better on mobile than on PC. Don’t ask me why; the game just doesn’t scale up enough for a laptop or PC screen. So I suggest playing on your phone for an overall better experience.
The game functions just as well on a PC; the symbols are just puny and hard to see.
Features
WILD SYMBOL
The Wild symbol is another cute ghost symbol with Wild printed on it. It can substitute for all paying symbols to help contribute to a win.
Wild symbols only appear on reels 2 to 5.
FREE SPINS
To trigger Free Spins you need a Special Ghost symbol and Ghost Hunter to appear on the same reel with the Trap position indicating Free Spins.
When you trigger Free Spins, 1 to 3 Ghost Hunters can randomly appear under the reels.
The bonuses on the Traps can be 5 additional Free Spins or 2x to 1,000x multiplier value.
BUY BONUS
You can skip the base game and trigger Free Spins.
- 10 Free Spins with 1 Ghost Hunter = 40x your current bet

- 10 Free Spins with 3 Ghost Hunters = 90x your current bet
ANTE BET
You can add a second Ghost Hunter to the base game for an additional 50% of your current bet.
Performance
I tested Ghost Huntin’ slot on my gaming laptop and Android phone, and I didn’t experience any issues throughout my playthrough.
Maximum Win
The betting range is between €0.20 and €20. The best multiplier you can get is 4,000x your current bet, which opens the way to the slot’s highest payout of €80,000.
Conclusion
I really liked this slot. The Ghost Hunter animations are surprisingly smooth for a video slot. Which is a good thing since you will spend a lot of time watching where they run to and which reel they stand under.
The big mechanics in this slot are the Special Ghost symbols and Ghost Hunters. When they line up, you’re awarded a multiplier or Free Spins.
Free Spins up the ante with 1 to 3 Ghost Hunters and even bigger multipliers up to 1,000x your current bet.
Thankfully, Ghost Huntin’ slot lets you purchase Free Spins and you can even choose how many Ghost Hunters are going to be running around during the feature.
There is a pretty cool Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. feature that adds a Ghost Hunter to the base game, which essentially doubles your chances of triggering Free Spins and scoring one of the multipliers.
This isn’t a very complicated-to-play slot, and it’s great for new players who are looking for something more than the standard slot games.
