Grace of Cleopatra Slot review
Cleopatra was a seriously cool lady. In fact, when I found out I was going to be doing this review, I let out a little screech of delight. FINALLY! A slot in homage to the baddest woman of all time, the one and only Cleo. I don’t know if you know anything about her but, goddamn, she truly made a name for herself for a reason. You’ll probably recognize her because of her torrid affair with Caesar, and her marriage to Mark Anthony, but let me tell you something - this was a woman who stood up for herself and was a ruler in her own right. In fact, I’ve always been a little bit in love with her.
Gameplay
Grace of Cleopatra is a 5-reel, 10-payline slot that packs a punch as big as the lady herself. EGT Interactive have imbued this slot with her essence, and really need to be commended for it. Symbols include Cleopatra as the Wild, Mark Anthony, Caesar, A sphinx cat, a Scarab beetle and playing cards from 10 to Ace. The controls are pretty straightforward, but I’ll run through them just in case you’re too mesmerized by the beauty of Cleopatra to remember. Directly under the reels, you’ll find the displays for your Balance, coin value, total bet, and wins. The spin button is located to the right of the slot and is marked by a prominent, green Spin symbol. To access any of the other controls, you’ll have to hit “settings” (a bit of a mission, I know but send the complaints elsewhere). There you’ll be able to adjust your bet, ranging from 10 to 200, and sound.
Features
You’ve probably played a slot with a Gamble featureThis feature allows you to gamble your current winnings. It usually takes the form of guessing what color and/or suit a facedown card will reveal itself to be. A correct guess on the color pays 2x, while a correct guess of the color and suit pays 4x your bet. before in which case this next sentence shouldn’t offer any massive surprises. To increase your winnings, you can click on the ‘gamble’ button, triggered after a winning round. All you have to do is guess whether the face-down card is black or red. Guess right, and you’ll double your winnings, but get it wrong, and you’ll be sent back to the base game empty-handed.
Unique Features
Wow, there are quite a few of these so bear with me.
Jackpot Mystery Cards: A randomly triggered bonus, that is activated when a Jackpot Cards stamped game is played. Each of the mystery jackpots is represented by one of the four suits: clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts. You’ll have to pick 3 matching cards from a pick-field of 12 to be rewarded with the corresponding suits jackpot.
Free Spins mode: Three or more Wild symbols at any position on the reels will trigger 10 Free Spins with a special expanding symbol. During the Free Spins, one symbol will be triggered to act as the expanding symbol, covering three other symbols and pays on any active payline. During Free Spins, an alternate set of reels is used.
Wild feature: The Wild can substitute for all other symbols, however during the Free Spins mode it cannot substitute for any expanding symbol.
Performance
Grace of Cleopatra is a supremely ambitious slot, with graphics and payouts to match. The soundtrack will transport you back to Ancient Egypt, and the graphics will have you trying to canoodle with Caesar and Mark Anthony. It’s also available for gameplay on any device, which is just one more perk to add!
Conclusion
This slot is much like its namesake: Gracious, sexy, and with payouts bigger than Julius Caesar’s ego. Would I recommend this slot? Of course! Come for the slot, stay for Cleopatra.
