Halloween Jack Slot Review

I’ve always loved carving Jack-o’-lanterns for Halloween. What’s not to like? It’s a morbid, cathartic, and in the end, you’re left with something that will slowly rot and stink up your porch for the next month. Not only that, but it allows you to give an otherwise plain-faced pumpkin some much needed plastic surgery. It’s truly a win-win situation. “How do you know the pumpkins want to be carved up?” You may ask. Well just think of it. Who in their right mind wouldn’t want to have their insides carved out, a candle placed inside their hollow body only to be ogled at by toddlers with sticky fingers? Exactly.

Halloween Jack Slot Gameplay

Halloween Jack is a 5-reel, 20-payline video slot powered by software from NetEnt. This one is pretty spooktacular, so expect lots of creepy icons on the reels. Symbols include a nasty looking young lady, a big ol’ red-eyed horse, a bat, a raven, a horseshoe, and playing cards from 10 to Ace. The Wild is represented a pumpkin jack-o-lantern, while a treasure chest acts as the Scatter. There’s also a bonus symbol, represented by a lantern (not of the Jack nature), but more on that later.

Controls are relatively straightforward, but let’s run through them. The menu is furthest to the left, with Bet, Bet Level, Auto Play, Spin, Max Bet, Coin Value, and Coin Balance following just after. As per usual, Auto Play is there to help should you get tired of spinning, while Coin and Bet level controls allow you to toggle your stake.

Halloween Jack Slot Features

So, what features can you expect from Halloween Jack?
Wild: Substitutes for all symbols except scatter and bonus symbol. It appears on all reels, except reel 1 and any winning combo made with a wild will add a x3 multiplier.
Scatter: Landing three or more scatters will trigger 10 Free Spins. This feature is re-triggerable.

Halloween Jack Slot Unique Features

Don’t worry folks, Halloween Jacks features, might be unusual but they’re not going to frighten you.
Jack-o-Lantern Walking Wild: triggered when the pumpkin appears and you’re awarded one free spin. The Wilds move one reel to the left, and you’ll keep getting respins until the walking wilds no longer appear on the reels.
Stacked HellHound Wild: Landing 3 lanterns will turn the next Wild into a 2-high Stacked Hell Hound Wild and will trigger the Walking Wild.
Stacked Jack-o-Lantern Wild: Should you land 6 lanterns, the next wild will be a 3-high stacked Jack-o-Lantern Wild and will trigger the Walking Wild.
Expanding Death Reaper Wild: Collect 9 Lanterns, and the next wild will be an Expanding Death Reaper Wild. You’ll earn a Wild reel that will shift one reel at a time for every free spin you have.

Halloween Jack Slot Performance

I truly enjoyed this slot. The graphics are outrageous but excellent, the soundtrack is so spooky it’ll have the hairs on the back of your neck standing at attention, and it’s available on any device.

Halloween Jack Slot Max Win

This slot is high variance, which means that payouts have the potential to be huge. With a maximum payout of 6000x your stake, this one is sure to be a nailbiter.

Halloween Jack Slot Conclusion

Halloween Jack is another fantastic (albeit spooky) release from NetEnt. This one is for those made of sterner stuff, so get ready for a bit of a wild ride. With that being said, if you like anything even vaguely scary, you’re in for a real treat.
