Hercules and Pegasus Slot Review
Get whisked away to Ancient Greece and boy is it a wild ride. This slot is packed with features that it’s surprising that us mere mortals are able to keep up. We may feel like gods, but Hercules and Pegasus kick our asses but then reward us for it. Be prepared to make Olympia your new home but, that means you will have to share it with the strongest man in the universe and come to terms with the fact that he doesn’t have an ordinary horse, oh no, he has to get the one that a fly as well. Sibling rivalry aside, this game is fantastic with a more Disney style approach than other games with a similar theme and great winning potential with 3 free spin features that have “unlimited” spins.
Gameplay
Hercules is a is a 5x3 reel, 20 payline video slot powered by Pragmatic Play software. Symbols include the Game logo, Hercules and Pegasus Wild, Greek Temple, Golden Harp, Vase and Card Suit symbols. Bonus symbols consist of a gold disk with a lightning bolt, Hercules Bonus symbol and a Pegasus Bonus symbol. There are 3 different free spins features and a random reel modifier that will be further discussed in the features section.
Controls are located at the bottom of the reels. Starting from the left you will find a System Settings icon (3 horizontal lines), below that a Mute button and next to that an Information icon with the pay table. On the bottom right is your Spin button with Autospin below it and bet increase and decrease buttons. Simple and to the point.
Features
Hercules and Pegasus has a bunch of great features that include wilds, scatters, random reel modifiers and 3 kinds of free spin features.
Unique Features
The random reel modifier appears, well at random, during the base game play, here Hercules and Pegasus come swooping in from behind the reels and reveal 3 scrolls on the reels. You are instructed to select one of the scrolls that contain a bonus feature. These are what’s on offer:
Hercules Wilds gives you a random number of Hercules wilds that are added onto the reels; Pegasus Wilds also gives you a random number of wilds with the added benefit of a potential 2x multiplier on any win; Bolts of Zeus appears from a dark cloud and strikes stacked Zeus Symbols onto the reels that then transform into a randomly selected symbol; Bonus feature provides you bonus symbols to trigger 1 of the 3 free spins features.
The 3 different free spins features consist of one for Hercules, one for Pegasus and one where both of them combine there effects. Here’s how they work:
Hercules Free Spins
The feature is triggered when landing a Gold bonus symbol with the lightning bolt on it on reels 1 and 3, as well as with a Hercules bonus symbol on reel 5. It gives you an unlimited number of spins and a red potion bottle can land on reel 5. The spins continue until you receive all 5 red potion bottles, the potion bottles activate Hercules wilds.
Pegasus Free Spins
The feature is triggered exactly like the Hercules one except that you need a Pegasus bonus symbol in the 5th reel. The same mechanic is used, instead there is a blue potion bottle that gives you multipliers, 1x per potion bottle.
Hercules & Pegasus Combo Free Spins
This combined feature is triggered by landing bonus symbols on reels 1 and 3, together with the Hercules and Pegasus bonus symbol on reel 5. This feature is a combination of both the Hercules and Pegasus features and works exactly the same.
Performance
I cannot fault the performance of Hercules and Pegasus with great graphics, charming characters and decent amount of features that pay up to 2500x your stake. The winning potential is there with an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Conclusion
Life must be great when you are an Ancient Greek God and add to that a flying horse, you are bound to land the girl/guy of your dreams, if only there was a way to summon Zeus to make this a reality. I would definitely be soaring through the clouds and make everyone my b…. oh wait I forgot I am writing for a public platform. Let me get my head out the clouds and encourage you to get in on the action and see if you make it big with Hercules and Pegasus. Go on, win away!
