Hop ‘N’ Pop Slot Review

This awesome Game by Hacksaw was like a Hallmark movie and boy am I glad I showed up for it. I could leave mainstream life to go be a farmer any day, The idea of waking up with the sun tickling your face at 5am, the sound of the roosters in the distance, the baby sheep, Calfs and fawns starting their day and beginning to suckle, and play, waking the kids with fresh eggs and Milk from the day before. And then reality kicks in and I realise I gotta get up in the morning and drive 45 mins to the office. I guess I’ll just live out my dreams with a Hop N Pop slot, shoutout to Hacksaw Gaming for making it a possibility.

Game Play

Hop ‘N’ Pop is a 7x7 reel, cluster pay video slot by Hacksaw.

In ascending order of value, the fruity pay symbols start with the blueberry, aubergine, blackberry and carrot, which award up to 20x your stake for 15 or more in a cluster. Apples, bananas and cherries follow, awarding up to 60x your stake for a cluster of 15+ symbols. The strawberry is the most valuable symbol and pays up to 80x your bet for a cluster of 15 or more. Oranges play the wilds, which substitute for all symbols except the sunny smile free spin symbols which trigger the bonus for landing three or more.

Features

One of the first things you notice when Hop'N'Pop starts spinning is the constantly moving x2 multiplier. It's progressive or divisive and is accompanied by free spins, as well as three bonus buy options.

Starting with the multiplier, it leaps to a new position on each spin, overlaying individual symbols. If the symbol it sits on is part of a winning cluster, the amount is multiplied by the multiplier's value. It then either doubles before leaping to a new position or splits into two. If more than one multiplier sits on a winning cluster, they are added together before being applied. You can have up to 4 active
multipliers, with values as high as x64.

Smiley suns in shades act as scatter symbols - landing 3 or more in view grant 10 free spins. Depending on the number of triggering scatters, you also get starting multipliers accordingly:
3 scatters - starts the bonus with a single x2 multiplier.
4 scatters - starts the bonus with two x2 multipliers.
5 scatters - starts the bonus with four x4 multipliers.

During free spins, wild orange symbols appear, substituting for any paying symbol. Moreover, the multipliers act the same way as in the base game but with the added benefit of always remaining in play throughout the round.

Unique Features

If you're not in the mood to wait around for free spins to drop organically, Hop'N'Pop allows players to buy one of three features. For the cost of 100x, 200x, or 400x the bet, 3, 4, or 5 scatters will appear on the next drop. The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
remains the same across all options, though volatility increases with the price.

Performance

Hop ‘N’ Pop is no exception to the Hacksaw tradition of ultra-smooth gameplay and graphics that are tough to beat! We do not doubt that this is a high-performance game.

Conclusion

Hacksaw Gaming slots have become the honey badgers of casino lobbies; cute to look at and prone to wild bouts of super payouts. Hop ‘N’ Pop is no different, cleverly executed and neatly dressed from head to toe in Hacksaw style. The new Hoppers mechanic is hypnotising and although impossible to say how successful it will be, we know how generous Hacksaw gaming is. Hop ‘N’ Pop is certainly one of the most interesting slots 2021 has to offer so far.
