House Of Doom Slot Review
This slots name sums up Monday mornings at my house. After a weekend of a little too much jolly everyone wakes up more than a little scary. The first daughter stumbles out of her room, hair raised to the roof and drool stuck to the side of her cheek, a walking mummy. The other runs out of hers screaming blue murder because she had forgotten a biology project and now must run through the garden collecting different leaf specimens in the dark. This is frightening stuff when in fact Sunday lunch extended to Sunday Dinner with the neighbors who never know when to go home.
House of Doom plays out on a dark and terrifying background of the house of death it seems, nevermind doom. The skulls and various other satanic symbols make for an evil game with the very frightening expanding wild pooping up now and then to frighten you out of your wits. The heavy metal soundtrack perfectly enhanced this dark theme.
Although this game plays well on electronic devices, I chose to play it on my phone, so I could put it far away when things got hairy.
Gameplay
This sinister slot plays on 5 devilish reels and offers 10 paylines. The volatility is medium.
The characters indeed work perfectly in this satanic type slot. The lesser paying symbols are the bloody card numbers 10 through to Ace.
The medium paying symbols are represented by very a fearsome looking ram; a blood red rose, an entangle cross and the star of Satan.
The devil's mistress is the Wild. She can replace all symbols except the Scatter.
The Scatter is the Skull of Abyss
Other symbols include the Free Spin Logo. Also, there is the House of Doom Logo.
The reels and controls are set in a metal frame embellished with skulls and thorns. The controls help you find your way through the House of Doom correctly by using Balance, Bet, Win, Play, and Autoplay. The information sign on the left of the control panel will allow you access to the pay table, which will help you get as much out of this house of horrors as you can.
Features
The House of Doom symbols triggers the Free Spin Round and offers 10 free spins. At any time during this round, the symbol can become wild and replace all symbols. The or more symbols retrigger one free spin for each symbol.
Unique Features
One reel is randomly highlighted on each spin. If that reel features a wild, then the wild will expand.
During the Doom Spin, anything up to 5 reels can be highlighted, and both the Wild and the House of Doom Wild will expand. This, of course, extends your opportunity for fantastic wins.
The Skulls of Abyss trigger the Bonus Game. 15 Skulls appear, and you choose skulls to accumulate wins and Doom Spins. When you get a House of Doom symbol, the game ends.
Maximum Win
The maximum win is a not so doomed 250 000 coins. Enough to pay for the therapy to get over the scary experience.
Performance
A terrifying house to visit, but with the free spins, expanding wilds and bonus game, it indeed was worthwhile. The racy head banging music certainly kept the game filled with energy and heart racing moments when she-devil decided to pop out and frighten the living daylights out of you.
Conclusion
Overall, a fantastic slot by Play ‘n Go. Not sure the theme was my to my taste, but hey I do have those 2 hellish daughters to deal with, so that softened the blow. There are some excellent wins to be had, and I think this game will appeal to those scary movie fanatics and gamblers who like exciting play.
