Ice Valley Slot Review
It looks like Elsa better step down from the throne in Frozen because a new Ice Queen is ruling over the Ice Valley. At first glance, this game seemed quite interesting until you recognize similarities to another EGT game called Rainbow Luck and, essentially, turns out to be a reskin. All this talk about ice has me in the mood for an ice-cold beer. Otherwise, I will just have to let it go.
Gameplay
Ice valley is a 5x4 reel, 1024 ways video slot powered by EGT Interactivesoftware. Symbols include Royal Card Suits (10-A), Rings, Sceptres, Wolves, and the Ice Queen Character Symbol. Special Symbols include the Snowglobe Wild and the Ice Castle Scatter that triggers the Free Spins Feature. There is also a Boost Win Zone Feature, Jackpot Cards Feature, and the Gamble Feature. More detail will be given in the Features section.
As far as controls go, they are all neatly located at the bottom of the reels. From left to right is the Balance window, below it is the Sound button, Full-screen button, Information button that expands to the Paytable, and the Autoplay button. Next is the Credit button and 5 Bet amount buttons that also act as the Spin buttons. Next is the Home button, followed by the Win window.
Features
The features in Ice Valley include the Snowglobe Wild, the Ice Castle Scatter that triggers the Free Spins Feature, the Boost Win Zone Feature, Jackpot Cards Feature, and the Gamble Feature.
The Snowglobe Wild substitutes for all symbols, except the Ice Castle Scatter, in forming potential winning combinations.
The Boost Win Zone Feature entails a Boost Win Zone on the reels in the middle row of reels 2, 3, and 4. When a Snowglobe Wild Lands anywhere in the Boost Win Zone, it expands to all neighbouring positions on the reels and substitutes for all symbols except the Ice Castle Scatter.
After each win, you have the opportunity of selecting the Gamble button that pops up to play the Gamble Feature. You will then play a Red or Black game, if the flashing card lands on the colour you chose, you will double your win. If not, you will lose everything.
Land 6 Ice Castle Scatters (stacked in 2s) on reels 2, 3, and 4 to trigger the Free Spins Feature. If all 6 land in the Boost Win Zone, 30 free spins are awarded. If at least 1 of the 6 are outside the Boost Win Zone, 10 free spins are awarded. The feature can be retriggered.
The Jackpot Cards Mystery Bonus triggers at random, where you pick out of 12 cards until getting 3 of the same Card Suits, the prize won will be that of the corresponding Card Suit Jackpot at the top of the reels.

The volatility is low-medium and RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is at 96.02%.
Max Win
The max coin win is 250x your stake.
Conclusion
Eesh, the Max Win is a bit icy to absorb, but that should not distract you from warming up the reels, as the features land quite frequently and can award some decent wins along the way. Move into the Ice Valley and let the Ice Queen cool you down after setting fire to the reels. I'm still waiting for her to chill my beer.
