Jaws of Justice Slot Review

Have you ever watched any of the Sharknado movies? šŸæ I refuse.

Still, the moment I fired up Jaws of Justice Slot from Hacksaw, that was the first thing that came to mind. 🦈

Just like seeing flying sharks in the trailer for the first movie, I was left completely speechless. šŸ¤¦šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

Let’s see if the gameplay is any better. šŸ¤ž

Gameplay

I’ve seen some interesting game designs over the years, and this one is definitely interesting. A distant planet with robotic sharks jumping (or flying) across the screen… oook. The whole thing is visual chaos, so let’s move on to the 5-reel, 4-row grid.

The frame looks like the tail lights of an old Chevy, and if you think the sharks are weird, prepare to meet their friends. High-paying symbols include a rhino, a snake, a sabre-toothed tiger, t-rex, and a shark…all of them dressed up in the same steel protective shield.

The Wild substitutes for all of the high-paying symbols I just mentioned.

In true Hacksaw fashion, the yellow button for the Buy Bonus is located in the bottom-left corner.

A closer look at the stats reveals: 14 paylines, a 96.20% RTPRTP stands for ā€œReturn to Player.ā€ The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
, a medium/high volatility rate, a 10,000x max multiplier, and a $350,000 max win. Note that this is a fiat currency-only game.

Features

LASER SHARK SYMBOLS

The Laser Shark symbol can only land on the 4th row. The shark then fires a laser in one of three directions: straight up, diagonally left or right. Every paying symbol in its way transforms into a Wild.

The new symbol can remain Wild, or reveal a 1x-200x multiplier. If a laser hits an existing Wild, it gains a random multiplier. Should that existing Wild have a multiplier, it gets a +1x boost.

FORCE FIELDS

If you look at the grid, there are three blue shields on the left, at the top, and on the right. These are called Force Fields. If a Laser Shark activates and hits one of the fields, the laser will bounce and continue in another direction, transforming symbols in its way.

When the laser hits a Force Field straight on, it bounces back the way it came from, potentially adding multipliers to Wild symbols. If the laser hits the Laser Shark symbol itself, it gains a multiplier.

Once all wins have been paid out, the Laser Shark and all Wilds are removed from the grid for the next spin.

BONUS GAME - KILLER COSMOS

Landing 3 Scatters triggers 10 Free Spins and the Killer Cosmos feature. The feature has an increased chance of landing Laser Sharks. If you can land additional Scatters during Free Spins, you’re awarded:

  • 2 Scatters - 2 Extra spins
  • 3 Scatters - 4 Extra spins

BONUS GAME - CHOMPOCALYPSE

Four Scatters will get you 10 Free Spins in the Chompocalypse feature. This version keeps the mechanics of the Killer Cosmos, but each Laser Shark will fire lasers in two different directions.

You can pick up more spins by landing Scatters:

  • 2 Scatters - 2 Extra spins
  • 3 Scatters - 4 Extra spins

NUCLEAR NEBULA

The top Bonus Game is called Nuclear Nebula, and it takes 5 Scatters to trigger its 10 Free Spins. This version has all the ingredients of the Chompocalypse, but guarantees a minimum of 1 Laser Shark on every spin.

BUY BONUS

Clicking the Buy Bonus lines up the following options:

  • Bonus Hunt Feature Spins (3x) - Each spin has a 5x higher risk of triggering Free Spins.
  • Lazzzer Feature Spins (100x) - Each spin guarantees at least 1 Laser Shark symbol.
  • Killer Cosmos (100x) - 10 Free Spins with a higher chance of landing Laser Sharks.
  • Chompocalypse (250x) - 10 Free Spins with Laser Sharks firing in two different directions.

Performance

As distracting as those two flying sharks may be, I didn’t encounter any issues while playing the game.

Max Win

To secure the $350,000 max win, you need to hit the 10,000x max multiplier on a $35 bet. The game accepts bets ranging from $0.10 to $35.

Conclusion

Jaws of Justice slot is peak Hacksaw Gaming chaos, and that’s very much by design. Beneath the flying sharks and sci-fi madness is a tightly wound, math-driven slot that revolves almost entirely around Laser Sharks and how well their mechanics line up.

With an estimated hit rate of roughly 17–19%, the base game is deliberately sparse. Most spins are about setup rather than reward, and patience is mandatory. When Laser Sharks do land, however, the game can flip instantly.

The tiered bonus structure is where Jaws of Justice really shines.

From a Buy Bonus perspective, the best value option for most players is Chompocalypse (250x). It strikes the best balance between cost, feature intensity, and win potential, without the extreme variance swings of Nuclear Nebula.

The Lazzzer Feature Spins (100x) are a solid pick for players who want immediate interaction with the core mechanic without committing to full Free Spins.

On the downside, the visual chaos won’t appeal to everyone, and the game is heavily dependent on Laser Sharks appearing. Dry spells are very real, and without features firing, the base game can feel flat.

Jaws of Justice slot is best suited for experienced players who enjoy high-impact volatility, feature-heavy gameplay, and sessions where a single spin can decide everything.

Casual players or those chasing steady, low-stress gameplay may find it exhausting, but if you like waiting for the moment when everything clicks, this slot fully commits to the madness.
