Kemet’s Treasure Slot Review

The history books are littered with tales of people who overcame their humble beginnings and left an indelible mark on the world.

Off the top of my head, I can think of Oprah, J.K. Rowling, and Christiano Ronaldo. 🥅⚽️

Leonardo Del Vecchio, whose empire makes Oakleys and Ray-Bans, 😎 was born in an orphanage. And generously bosomed Dolly Parton 🏀🏀 grew up with 11 siblings in the Appalachians. Now if that isn’t a challenging past to overcome, I don’t know what is.

One character who had mountains to climb on the road to success is Kermit the Frog 🐸. He didn’t start life being all green and glamorous.

No siree, this cultural icon was initially made from a discarded turquoise coat and had ping-pong balls for eyes 👀. I hope they didn’t find those in Thailand…

The next game from Amusnet Games is called Kemet’s Treasure slot. Kemet isn’t a reference to Miss Piggy’s bacon-lovin’ companion. It’s an ancient Egyptian word meaning “the black land.”

This is how the Egyptians of old referred to Egypt; presumably because of the fertile soil from the Nile. Glad we could clear that up. 🌴

Gameplay

Armed with the above information, it’s unsurprising that Kemet’s Treasure slot is set in the land of pyramids and Pharaohs.

Above the reels are the progressive Jackpots, just like you’ll find in another Amusenet game, Easter Frog slot.

This game boasts 215 paylines, a max multiplier of 10,000x, and a top payout of $300,000 despite having a medium volatility rate. Incredible!

The RTP is 96.38%, and you’ll have to play with one of the following currencies: the euro, the US dollar, the krone, the New Zealand dollar, the real, or the ruble. That’s it.

The Wild replaces all symbols that aren’t Bonus Scatters and doubles the amount when it substitutes in a winning payline. However, a winning payline made up exclusively of Wilds, won’t double.

Features

Free Spins and the Buy Bonus are where Kemet’s Treasure slot deviates from Easter Frog slot, while the Gamble and Progressive Jackpot features appear in both games.

FREE SPINS:

Three or more Scatters trigger 15 Free Spins along with a 3x multiplier. Land an additional 3 Scatters and you’ll re-trigger the round for 15 more spins.

GAMBLE FEATURE:

You can gamble a win and choose if you think the face-down card you’ll be presented with reveals a red or black suit. A correct guess doubles your moolah, and you can do this twice, but a single wrong guess obliterates your current winnings.

PROGRESSIVE JACKPOTS:

There are 4 levels – Clubs are the lowest, then there are Diamonds, Hearts, and finally Spades as the highest – and each suit represents a Progressive Jackpot. The Jackpot round is triggered randomly and you’ll be taken to a new screen.

You’ll need to pick cards from the 12 face-down ones on the screen. Match 3 cards and you’ll be paid their respective Jackpot.

BUY BONUS:

Pay the fee of 100x to enter the Free Spins round immediately.

Performance

Swapping between devices and browsers didn’t unsettle Kemet’s Treasure slot in the slightest. It loaded and played smoothly no matter the variables.

Maximum Win

I still can’t get over the fact that these figures come on the back of a game with medium volatility: a 10,000x multiplier and a $300,000 top payout! Place your bets from $0.15 to $30.

Conclusion

Kemet’s Treasure slot certainly moves the needle on from Easter Frog slot, thanks to the Free Spins round and Buy Bonus option, not to mention the impressive multiplier and $300k you can win in this game. Of the two games, this would be my preferred choice.

However, my critique centers around the same things I said of that other game: the Gamble featureThis feature allows you to gamble your current winnings. It usually takes the form of guessing what color and/or suit a facedown card will reveal itself to be. A correct guess on the color pays 2x, while a correct guess of the color and suit pays 4x your bet. isn’t as decent as the ones you’ll find elsewhere, which usually also offer to quadruple your money.

And the Progressive Jackpot – due to it being triggered randomly – is quickly forgotten about so it doesn’t contribute to the excitement. Nor can you work towards it, so Amusenet has definitely missed a trick there.

Overall, Kemet’s Treasure slot is decent, and oftentimes so much more than decent, so it’s worth checking out.
