Knight’s Shield Link&Win 4Tune Slot Review
There’s been a lot of speculation about the Knights Templar and the alleged wealth they accumulated, which ended up in accusations of devil worship – probably initiated by people such as King Philip IV of France, who was going through some financial strife. 💸
However, there’s no denying that the Knights acted as early bankers for the nobility, and they took care of things such as money transfers and offered loans. 🏦
That, in itself, is telling.
Banks – as far as I’m concerned, are the devil, so by association, the Templars were in league with Old Lucy! 😈
Unfortunately, playing Knight’s Shield Link&Win 4Tune slot means we’ll have to get in bed with the enemy, as the game doesn’t accept cryptocurrency. But if I win a portion of the quarter of a mil that’s on offer, I’ll be sure to say a few Hail Marys. 🙏
Gameplay
Dragons divebomb a 5-reel grid that’s floating above a forest, with an elaborate castle in the background.
The game looks decent on a laptop or tablet, and it's passable on a phone, too.
To the left you’ll find the various Jackpots – the Mega pays 10,000x; the Major pays 500x; the Minor pays 100x; the Maxi pays 20x; and the Mini pays 10x your bet. I’ll give you the keys to winning these bad boys a little later.
Knight’s Shield Link&Win 4Tune slot packs a solid punch when it comes to the stats. For starters, we have a magnificent 10,000x max multiplier and a $250,000 top payout, so it’ll come as no surprise to learn the volatility rate is high.
The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96.24%, and you’ll have to play with fiat money but no Japanese yen or Russian ruble. Oh, and there are 25 paylines in this game.
The Wild is Prince Charming – or whatever you wanna call him – and he lands in the base game and Free Spins. Wilds replace all symbols other than Scatters or Shields.
Features
FREE SPINS:
The Scatter symbol is a crown, and nailing 3 Scatters on reels 2 to 4 unlocks the round. You’ll have the chance to choose between 3 options:
- Option 1: 10 spins and a silver Shield
- Option 2: 7 spins and a gold and silver Shield
- Option 3: 3 spins and a gold Shield
P.S.: I’ll explain fully what the Shields are and how they roll in the Link & Win feature.
All Wilds that land on a payline multiply their line wins with a 2x multiplier.
Free Spins can be re-triggered and when that happens, you’ll be awarded the same number of spins and Shields as you were initially.
You can trigger the Link & Win feature from Free Spins by landing 5+ gold or silver Shield symbols.
REGULAR LINK&WIN:
The Link&Win feature can be triggered whenever you land 6+ gold or silver Shield symbols during the base game. But gold symbols bring something different to the party versus the silver ones.
But first, let me set the scene – the Link&Win feature can play out on a grid with locked or unlocked reels (there are 4 reels in total)
Gold Shields unlock all 4 sets of reels at the start
Silver Shields unlocks the first set of reels only
You unlock reels by landing additional Shields.
- Land 8 symbols to unlock reel 2
- Land 16 symbols to unlock reel 3
- Land 36 symbols to unlock reel 4
Shields carry bet multipliers – ranging from 1x to 500x – and you can also score Jackpots whenever these bad boys land.
As you’d expect, you’ll be given 3 re-spins at the start of the feature. Triggering symbols are held in place and newly landed Shields that land on an unlocked reel also become sticky and reset the spin counter.
The fun ends when you run out of spins or you fill all 15 reel positions with symbols. Fill all those positions on an unlocked set of reels and you’ll be awarded the Mega Jackpot worth a staggering 10,000x!
And that Mega Jackpot prize will be added to the sum of the other prizes you won during the feature.
RANDOM LINK&WIN:
You can also trigger the Link&Win round randomly by landing 1 to 5 Shields during the base game, or when 1 to 4 Shields land during Free Spins. Now, additional Shields will be randomly added to the reels – up to a total of 10.
The random Link&Win could trigger as a result of gold or silver Shields, so that will determine the number of locked or unlocked reels.
Performance
I had no issues with Knight’s Shield Link&Win 4Tune slot during testing.
Maximum Win
You can’t get much better than this: a 10,000x multiplier that brings in a top payout of $250,000 when coupled with a $25 max bet (the minimum bet is $0.25).
Conclusion
If you’re a newbie, then maybe Knight’s Shield Link&Win 4Tune slot isn’t for you, because you might find the features a little complicated, and there is that high volatility rate to consider.
If you’re comfortable with online slots, then there’s no reason not to try your hand at getting your share of the quarter of a million that’s on offer.
The Link&Win feature is made more interesting by the use of locked and unlocked reels, and the fact that you can trigger the round in a couple of ways is also much appreciated.
Yeah, Knight’s Shield Link&Win 4Tune slot is the real deal, and it’s built on some super solid stats, so it definitely gets a thumbs up from me.
