Links of Ra II Slot Review

The simple things in life are so gratifying. That morning cup of coffee ☕️, a sunset 🌇, your fur baby cuddling up to you (and not when they want food). But me? I like things complicated.

I like women with more layers than an onion 🧅 and more issues than a Vogue magazine catalog. I like em difficult and challenging, and if you’re asking why, then you’re a woman.

I say that because every man knows that complex women with hang-ups are the best in bed. And they’re not just a little bit better; it’s like they’re trying to exorcise demons with their lady bits. And I greatly appreciate that. 🙏

Today’s mission is to determine if the more complicated version in a series of 2 games, Links of Ra II slot from Quickfire, is more rewarding than its simpler sister. I hit the previous one a few months back, and now I’m going to hit the younger version. 👯‍♀️

The sacrifices I make for you people…

Gameplay

Links of Ra II slot is festooned with both well-known and obscure Egyptian deities: there’s Khnum, Sekhmet, Horus, Anubis and Sobek.

The game offers 40 paylines and a high volatility rate. Its money-making potential comes from a stunning 10,000x multiplier and a $250,000 potential payout. The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
is 95.05%
, and you can only play with fiat money – except for the ruble and yen.

Features

POWER STACKS:

On any spin, random symbols – just not Wilds or Scatters – can Power Stack by filling all the positions on a reel. In the Free Spins round, however, only Wilds and Coins can be Power Stacks.

ULTRA LINK & WIN:

Landing 6 or more Coins during the base game or Free Spins round triggers this feature which starts with 3 re-spins. Triggering symbols are held in place, and newly-landed symbols reset the spin counter.

The round ends when you run out of spins or if you fill all of the grid positions with symbols.

ULTRA LINK & WIN FEATURE MODES:

Hitting 4 or 5 Coins in the Free Spins round or base game ads to the Ultra Link & Win meter, which you’ll see above the reels.

Landing 2 or 1 more Coin fills the meter and initiates the Ultra Link & Win round in one of 3 modes:

  • Max Mode: The Ultra Link & Win round starts with 3 extra rows

  • Multiplier Mode: The Ultra Link & Win round starts with 3 more rows and guarantees that a Persistent 2x Multiplier Booster Coin will land

  • Collect Mode: The Ultra Link & Win round starts with 3 more rows and guarantees that a persistent Cash Collect Booster Coin will land

So, let me explain these Booster Coins and stuff:

  • Persistent Cash Collect Booster Coin: These look like swirls of color and they grab the sum of all Cash Collector Booster Coins and Cash Coins

  • Cash Collector Booster Coin: These look very similar to the above and they collect the sum of visible Persistent Cash Collect Booster Coins and Cash Coins

  • Persistent 2x Multiplier Booster Coin: These are gold-ish balls of energy with a 2x on them and a green snake border and can randomly double up to 4 Cash Coins per spin

  • 2x Multiplier Booster Coin: Looking similar to the above, these randomly double up to 4 Cash Coins

  • Unlock Booster Coin: Each ball of energy with an ankh on it activates an additional row; you can activate up to 3 rows

  • Extra Chance Booster Coin: Land a sphere with a heart icon to extend the Ultra Link & Win round by 1 spin for each landed symbol

  • Prize Coins: These are the Jackpot Coins. Land a Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand Jackpot for 15x, 50x, 500x, and 5,000x payout, respectively, after they do a countdown (once per spin)

  • Cash Coins: These plain gold-ish spheres display a random value of 0.5x to 12x and they’ll pay in any position

COLLECTION POT FEATURE:

Landing an Eye of Ra Coin in the base game on reel 5 grows the Collection Pot – you’ll see it to the left of the grid – and can randomly trigger the Collection Pot feature. You’ll get to spin a wheel and hopefully win one of the Jackpots.

FREE SPINS:

Landing 3+ Scatters triggers the Free Spins round with 10 spins. Coins and Wilds are Power Stacked on each spin.

BUY BONUS:

Options: Links of Ra II slot has em, and all grant you entry into the Link & Win feature.

  • Option 1: pay 40x for entry into the feature
  • Option 2: pay 80x for the Max Mode
  • Option 3: pay 110x for the Multiplier Mode
  • Option 4: pay 165x for the Collect Mode

Performance

I had no performance-related issues with Links of Ra II slot.

Maximum Win

Bet $25 a spin and land the 10,000x multiplier and you’ll have your wallet stuffed with $250,000. Or just bet $0.20 if you don’t like money.

Conclusion

Links of Ra II slot is the successor to Links of Ra slot, and while there are some similarities, there are quite a few differences, too.

Let’s start with what’s the same: both games offer $250k as their top prize and have 40 paylines. They look identical, offer Jackpots, and have the same meter above the grid.

Both have Power Stacks and a Link & Win feature, but the newer version has more layers; more complexity, if you will.

In the original game, you could win the Grand Jackpot by filling all the positions during the Link & Win. In Links of Ra II slot, you have two ways to scoop that Jackpot: via Prize Coins or the Collection Pot feature.

Which brings me to some other differences: the max multiplier (10,000x for the current game vs 25,000x for the OG version), the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
(95.05% vs 96.20%), and the features are dissimilar, too.

Suffice it to say, Links of Ra II slot isn’t a reskin and it’s more fun, complex, and engaging than its younger sibling, even though it offers less generous prizes in some instances.

Whatever game you decide to play, you won’t be disappointed. But if you want some sexy complexity, Links of Ra II slot is the game to go for.
