Blimey – its time for a wee look at an excellent video slot right from my hometown of London! (That's a blatant lie – I'm not even from the U.K, but lets not break the atmosphere)
Before we begin, its time to brush up on your trivia about this iconic city:

London Hunter is an innovative video slot by Habanero which can keep you enthralled on P.C, mobile device or tablet. In old time London, an intrepid sleuth must save the day by stopping a rampant dinosaur (who for some reason is wearing goggles?) from destroying the city. Wow! How come there hasn't been a movie made about this? The poster alone of the goggle-wearing dinasour would entice me! Needless to say, I was hooked on the premise of the game, but I was also quickly immersed in the atmosphere of olden day industrial London.

Gameplay

London Hunter is a medium volatility 5 reel and 25 payline slot. Each symbol is painstakingly stylised – even the face card letters form shapes of industrial piping. Other standard symbols include the hunter (brandishing on helluva handlebar mustache), bulldog, smoking pipe, goggles (whats with them and goggles) and a rocket gun. The wild is the dinosaur which can replace all symbols.
I adore games that mesh the controls into the overall design and that's exactly what's going on here. Up top there's a Multiplier display while down below is everything else: Info (including Paytable), Bet, Bet Level, Bet Max, Spin, Autoplay, Coin value and Total Coins, Further down are your Game Settings (inclusing Quickspin), Rules and Balance/Bet displays in currency chosen.

Features

• On each side of the reels are blue tanks. When the Right Fuel tank is at full capacity during regular play, the Wild Expansion is activated. Each time a wild symbol lands on the reels together with the Hunter, the wild expand into a 2x2 symbol. When Wild Expansion is active, the wins are multiplied by 3.

• If the following appears at the same time 10 Free Spins (with permanent expanding wilds) are awarded: a hunter on reel 1, a rocket gun on reel 2 and a dinosaur on reel 3. If the left fuel tank is full when this feature is triggered then Free Spins begin with A 3X multiplier. If not and you fill the tank during Fre Spins, the multiplier can increase from 1X to 2X. If you manage to fill both tanks to capacity during this feature, you will be rewarded with between 2-6 additional Free Spins.

Performance

There's an immense amount of stylised detail in both the graphics and animation that put London Hunter firmly on the top of the heap in this category. The sound effects an music sound original, which is almost unheard these days.
Performance wise I tested the game on 3 different platforms and encountered no problems.

Conclusion

London Hunter is a rare mix of innovative design and rewarding features that deserves glowing praise. I play a lot of slots (sometimes for review purposes, but mostly for fun) and London Hunter is one the best I've tried out in the last few years.
