Loony Blox Slot Review

Remember the Loony Tunes animated series from your childhood days? Well this is a cheap shot at trying to replicate our beloved childhood characters. Besides this, if you pay close attention to the symbols, it is actually a fruit slot in a very sneaky disguise. Nevertheless, join a Rabbit, Elephant and Wolf in going loony on the reels. I think I have gone a bit loony after this desecration of my favorite characters as a kid. I may need counselling as I have been robbed of my memories.

Gameplay

Loony Blox is a 5x3, 243 ways video slot powered by Habanerosoftware. Symbols include Cherries, Lemons, Plums, Watermelons, Bells, Bars, Cactus 7s and Diamonds, and 3-character symbols namely the Rabbit, Elephant and Wolf. Special Symbols include the Cactus Wild and each character has it’s own feature. The game is played in different character modes. There is also a Map Feature that triggers Free Spins. More detail will be given in the Features section.

At the bottom of the reels you will find the controls beginning with the Information Icon with the Pay Table, followed by the Bet amount, the increase and decrease Bet Leve window, a Max Bet button, Spin button, Autoplay button, increase and decrease Coin Value button and the Balance window. Below this row there is an icon with three horizontal lines that gives you a Full Description of Game Play, on the far right hand side there is a Volume Control button, Fast Play Mode and Full Screen buttons.

Features

Features in Loony Blox include the Cactus Wild and each character has it’s own feature, played in different character modes and a Map Feature that triggers Free Spins.

The Cactus Wild substitutes for all symbols in forming potential winning combinations.

The 3 modes of game play are represented by each character with their own special features in play when in that mode:

Elephant: Expanding Wild.
Wolf: Pays Both Ways.
Rabbit: 2 - 5 Linked Reels.

Unique Features

When landing a winning combination of character symbols during the base game, the Map Feature is triggered. Here you will see a map of destination dots. The character that triggered the feature will then drive in their car, moving across dots according to the number of character symbols landed in the winning combination of the base game. Some of the dots are green and these are known as Feature Dots. When a character’s car stops on a green dot it triggers 12 Free Spins with that character’s feature in play during the free spins.

If multiple character’s cars stop on the same dot, their features are combined in the Free Spins Feature.

Performance

Loony Blox certainly has given a very fresh take on the fruit slot theme with multiple features that can land you some very decent wins. The attention to detail in the animation and design of the game is excellent as one can expect from Habanero. is 96.71% with high volatility.

Max Win

The max coin win is 1000x

Conclusion

Besides destroying what you thought Loony Tunes once were, Loony Blox provides ample fun and some innovative features that will make you wish all fruit themed slots were made like this. The max coin win may not be all that great, but you have multiple chances of landing decent wins along the way. Let me go YouTube some Loony Tunes and try regain some of my destroyed childhood memories.
