Majestic Express Gold Run Slot Review
I've spent enough time around work crews to know the guy doing the real hauling almost never gets his name on the sign.
Out in Death Valley, the salt got dragged 165 miles across the desert by 20-mule 🐴 teams that never lost a wagon on the run. The mules did the pulling. The railroad 🚂 got the songs.
Majestic Express Gold Run slot, from Pragmatic Play, keeps that arrangement going, with the Donkey stuck mid-paytable while the gold 💰 train takes top billing and the game's name. Me, I want to know whether the shiny one hauls anything worth a damn.
Gameplay
Pragmatic Play set this thing in a red-rock canyon at sundown, with trains chugging across the top of the reels like they have somewhere better to be. It's warm and busy and does the frontier bit fine, which is about all I ask of a game’s scenery.
As you can expect from this studio, they've made sure that the game adapts to any device, so if you're a mobile player you're gonna be more than happy.
The 5x4 grid runs 25 paylines, the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

Bets run from $0.20 to $17, and there's no Japanese yen at the cashier.
Four fixed jackpots sit off to the side: Mini at 20x, Minor at 50x, Major at 500x, and Grand at 5,000x. The Train Money symbols are what haul them onto the reels.
Up at the top of the paytable is the Prospector symbol, an old timer with a white beard and a brown hat, and he pays 30x for 5-of-a-kind. The Donkey pays 24x, the gold-filled Minecart 20x, the Powder Keg 16x, and the crossed Pickaxe and Shovel 12x.
The low-payers thin out fast. A and K manage 4x for 5-of-a-kind, and the Q, J, and 10 each drop to 2x.
The Wild symbol is a red dynamite plunger with a W stamped on it. It fills in for every regular symbol except the Scatter, Money, and Collect symbols, and it only shows up on reels 1 through 4.
The Scatter is a bundle of dynamite, and it lands on reels 1, 3, and 5. Get 3 of them and you're into the Free Spins.
Features
MONEY SYMBOL COLLECTION:
The Money symbol is a glowing gold nugget, and it drops anywhere from 1x to 15x on reels 1 through 4. The Train Money symbols are the colored locomotives, and they haul the bigger numbers, the 4 jackpots and all.
The Collect and Super Collect symbols only land on reel 5. When either one shows up alongside any Money or Train Money symbols, all those values get swept up and paid.
The Super Collect is the one you want, because it adds a golden train that multiplies every Train Money value on the screen before it pays out.
FREE SPINS:
Land 3 Scatter symbols and you'll pocket 10 Free Spins, but no retrigger to stretch them out. Special reels come into play, and the whole Money and Train Money collection keeps running the whole way through.
BUY BONUS:
For 100x the bet, you can buy straight into the Money Symbol Collection, with a Collect or Super Collect guaranteed alongside at least 2 Train Money symbols of different colors.

Performance
I tested this game harder than my britches when I've had me a curry dinner, and it held up strong.
Maximum Win
The max multiplier is 20,000x, which at the top bet of $17 lands a max win of $340,000. The smallest bet you can put down is $0.20.
Conclusion
The game's money runs through the Money Symbol Collection, where the Collect and Super Collect symbols sweep up the Train Money and the Super Collect stacks a multiplier over the whole screen. That's the machine, and it's a decent one.
The biggest paydays mean catching the Grand jackpot and a fat Super Collect multiplier across a screen full of trains, and it’s doable inside the Free Spins where the collection runs every spin.

The Buy Bonus runs 100x, right about the going rate for these things, so it's a fair shortcut if you don't feel like grinding out the Scatters. Same hot variance applies once you're in, mind you.
High-volatility players who want to chase the jackpots and don't mind a base game that makes them wait are the target here. If you're playing small and hoping for steady little wins to keep you afloat, you'll want a different train.
