Majestic Forest Buy Bonus Slot Review
In May 1950, firefighters in New Mexico's Capitan Mountains found a bear cub 🐻 clinging to a scorched tree with burned paws. They called him Smokey and made him the face of fire prevention.
His fan mail got so massive that in 1964 the Postal Service gave him his own ZIP code. 📬 I once had my own zipcode, but that might’ve had something to do with my eating habits.
Amusnet Games has gone back to that forestry landscape for Majestic Forest Buy Bonus slot. Nothing's on fire this time, and if you follow my advice, your bankroll could also survive getting burned up. 🔥
Gameplay
Sweet Jesus what an ugly game! The animals are pretty realistic, but it looks like the game escaped out of the '90s, so I think it’s safe to say I’m not a fan of the design language.
The 5x3 grid has 10 paylines, the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96.2%, volatility is high, and the max multiplier is 10,107x. The max win is $202,140. You’ll need to play with fiat currencies only, but the Japanese yen isn’t one you can use either.
At the bottom of the paytable, the Q, J and 10 symbols pay 10x each for 5 of a kind, and the A and K bump that to 15x.
The Fox and Deer pay 75x each for 5, the Wolf is worth 200x, and the Bear tops the lot at 500x. All 4 animals pay for 2 of a kind. The Bear pays 1x for a pair, which is your bet back and a pat on the head.
The Tree symbol is the Wild. It lands anywhere and replaces all symbols, and a line made only of Trees pays the same as Bears.
The Tree is also the Scatter, so it pays anywhere on the reels: 250x, 25x and 2x for 5, 4 and 3, respectively. Land 3 or more and Free Spins open up.
The 4 Jackpot Cards levels are named by card suit, lowest to highest: Clubs, Diamonds, Hearts and Spades.
Their values sit in meters above the reels and grow from a percentage of your bet, and nothing comes off it.
Features
FREE SPINS:
Land 3 or more Tree symbols anywhere and you get 12 Free Spins. Before the round starts, 1 symbol is picked at random as the Special Expanding Symbol.
Whenever the Special Expanding Symbol lands, it expands to cover all 3 positions on its reel. It pays in any position on the lines, so it doesn't have to line up on adjacent reels.
It pays at face value, with no multiplier on top, so everything depends on the draw. A Bear pick is the dream. A Fox or Deer pick makes for a much quieter 12 spins.
Land 3 or more Trees during the round and you get 12 more Free Spins, with the same expanding symbol staying on.
JACKPOT CARDS:
The feature triggers at random after any spin, and it guarantees a win from 1 of the 4 levels. You're dealt 12 face-down cards and keep picking until 3 of the same suit show.
That suit's level pays whatever is on its meter at that moment, straight to your balance. You don't make any decisions here.
GAMBLE:
After a win of 35x or less, you can guess red or black on a face-down card. Guess right and the win doubles, and you can go again, up to the game's attempt limit. Guess wrong and the win is gone. You can collect any time, which is the wise move.
BUY BONUS:
For 100x your bet, you can skip the wait and buy the Free Spins round, all 12 spins of it.
Performance
Ugly-ass '90s aesthetic aside, the game ran as smoothly as a wolf loping through the savanna. Or something poetic like that.
Maximum Win
Put the max multiplier of 10,107x on the $20 top bet and you get the max win of $202,140. The minimum bet is $0.10.
Conclusion
The slot's money is in Free Spins, and more precisely in which symbol gets the expanding job. When the Bear is picked, the round can actually pay. In the base game, the Bear's 500x and the Tree's 250x for 5 are the hits worth getting excited about.
The best single spin is Bears on all 10 lines, and 500x times 10 comes to 5,000x. The max multiplier is about double that, and you'd need a whole Free Spins round with the Bear expanding, plus retriggers, to get there.

The slot suits players with a bankroll for high-volatility swings who are chasing Free Spins and happy to buy in at 100x.
Low-bet players who want steady small wins should pass, because the volatility rating means long dry stretches are to be expected.
