The Merlin Realm of Charm slot game follows a standard 5x3 game until you enter the Free Spins feature. This title takes a leaf out of the Book of Ra slot, and uses the same expanding symbol feature it popularized.
The feature is really exciting, especially if you manage to get Merlin, the highest-paying symbol, as the Expanding symbol. The best possible situation is to land an Expanding symbol on every reel and collect wins until you run out of Free Spins.
I did try the option of spinning through the pay symbols again before Free Spins started to see if I could get a higher-paying symbol, but I landed on lower-paying symbols every time.
