Midas Golden Touch Christmas Slot Review
Gents, I’m about to give you a few tips about pleasing your woman, so get some paper out and take notes 🤓. Class is in session.
First off, all we ladies really want is to feel like we’re being heard. If your wifey is moaning about an (easily rectifiable) problem, don’t immediately jump in with a solution. Sometimes all we really want to do is b*tch, so just use those God-given ears and listen.
Secondly, and this is a big one, touch her. Get your mind out of the gutter, I don’t mean it like that (although, that wouldn’t hurt either). We like to feel special, and a huge part of that is physical contact. A little hug in the middle of the day “just because” can go a long way.
God, this sounds kind of corny, but allow me to get to the point. The main character in this game knew the value of touch. He made his living off of it, and then some.
Contrary to what you may think I’m talking about King Midas, not James Deen ⭐. Here’s Midas Golden Touch Christmas slot from Thunderkick.
Gameplay
Christmas slots are so popular even the Ancient Greeks want a turn 🙃. If you’re familiar with Thunderkick’s Midas Golden Touch slot, you’ll be thrilled to hear that they’ve reskinned it just in time for the festive season.
That’s really all this game is, if we’re being totally honest. I could copy and paste the review for the original game and you’d hardly notice but, for the sake of intellectual integrity, I won’t be doing that.
So, Midas Golden Touch Christmas slot features a 5x3 reel grid and 15 paylines. Similar to the original version of the game, it’s set against the backdrop of an ancient temple, but this time it’s dressed up in all kinds of festive decorations.
You know how, in Harry Potter, Hogwarts would be decorated for Christmas? It kind of reminds me of that, but less impressive.
Despite the cautionary tale of King Midas, the goal here is still to accumulate some massive wins. This slot has a maximum payout of €202,000, which you can win in any fiat currency besides the Australian dollar.
That’s if your bet is set to the max of €20, and you land the 10,100x bet multiplier 😜. Midas Golden Touch Christmas slot has a 96.17% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. and a high volatility rate. That means that you can expect pretty decent wins, although they won’t hit super often.
This game is fully mobile-compatible, so you can bet on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop, using iOS, Android, and Windows.
Features
WILD 🥇🥇🥇
The Wild, represented by Kind Midas’ Hand, substitutes for all of the symbols except the Scatter. It can also trigger multipliers, ranging from 2x to 32x your bet, based on the number of symbols that make up the winning combo.
FREE SPINS 🆓
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Golden Gate Scatters will transform the reels into gold, and award 10, 15, and 20 Free Spins respectively. Any win during this feature will trigger Sticky Respins, where winning symbols get locked in place while the reels spin again.
If a Wild lands on reels 2, 3, or 4 it boosts your chances of triggering the Respins. Multiplier Wilds are also active, reaching up to 32x your bet (just like in the base game).
Oh, and this feature can be re-triggered. You could get another 10 Free Spins if you land 3 Scatters, up to a max of 30.
Performance
I tested Midas Golden Touch Christmas slot on my iPhone 13 and MacBook Pro, and it worked seamlessly on both. If you’re looking for on-the-go play, this game is a great option.
Maximum Win
Midas Golden Touch Christmas slot has a maximum win of €202,000 🤑.
Conclusion
Alright, so, Midas Golden Touch Christmas slot is a reskin. So what?
Admittedly, it’s a little disappointing to see game studios relying on reskins, but we can’t have everything. And either way, this is still a solid slot.
If you’re looking to make some money, and throw Midas’ cautionary tale to the wind, then this game could be a great option. It’s simple, has solid gameplay and features, and is a great option for those after some cash dollah.
With Free Spins, Respins, and €202,000 on the cards, why not give it a spin?
