Monopoly TapCards Review

Monopoly… the good old game where family bonding goes to die. One minute you’re collecting rent politely, the next your brother flips the table over a “rigged dice,” and your grandma’s threatening to burn the board. 🔥 It’s the kind of game that has it all, and I’ve seen it all.

Playing Monopoly can get rough, but maybe Monopoly TapCards by Evolution is the solution. 🤔

Gameplay

Even though it doesn’t look like the boardgame version, there’s no question about this being a Monopoly game. If nothing else, Mr Monopoly himself is standing right there. The game has a certain level of scratch ticket to it.

You can spot the 7 symbols lined up on the left. The higher-paying symbols include classic Monopoly legends like:

  • Dog - Paying up to 3.55x for five-of-a-kind
  • Car - Paying up to 7.5x for five-of-a-kind
  • Battleship - Paying up to 15x for five-of-a-kind
  • Top Hat - Paying up to 25x for five-of-a-kind

To get going, just press the Play button to display a new playing card. Doing so shows the tap area in the middle. Once you click on the tap area, 4 cards will appear, revealing one of the symbols.

One or more of these 4 cards can be a Tap Card, which lets you click again to reveal 4 smaller symbols.

Each new playing card contains 7 to 16 symbols. To score a win, you must reveal 3, 4, or 5 matching symbols. You can win more than once per card.

The Wild symbol (M) substitutes for all other symbols, including the Tap Pot symbol.

Displayed at the top of the game are the Tap Pot prizes.

The value for each Tap Pot is randomly determined for each card:

  • Mini (100x-250x) - Win by landing 3 Tap Pot cards
  • Midi (500x-2,000x) - Win by landing 4 Tap Pot cards
  • Maxi (10,000x-30,000x) - Win by landing 5 Tap Pot cards

The game has a 96.49% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.
, a very high volatility rate, a 30,000x max multiplier, and a $240,000 max win. Both crypto and fiat currencies are accepted, with the exception of the Australian dollar and DOGE.

Performance

This is a very straightforward game without flashy graphics or high-tech features, and I didn’t encounter any issues.

Max Win

Scoring 5 Tap Pot cards at the 30,000x max multiplier value on a $8 bet gets you the $240,000 max win. The game accepts bets as low as $0.10.

Conclusion

Monopoly TapCards is basically a scratch card that decided it wanted to be a slot. It has very high volatility, low hit rate (around 28–30%), and massive swings that will either make you scream with joy or question every life choice that led to this moment.

The 30,000x max multiplier is the ultimate carrot — one lucky spin (or scratch, or tap, whatever you’d prefer) could pay your rent for a year, the next spin could remind you why patience is a virtue.

If you like tension, unpredictability, and the occasional “holy crap” moment, this one’s for you. If you’re after steady, comforting wins… well, maybe stick to an actual Monopoly board. At least there you only risk fake money… mostly.
