Mötley Crüe Slot Review
A lot of people like to hate Machine Gun Kelly, aka MGK, or Colson Baker, as his mother calls him.
But the guy has made a pretty awesome life for himself.
He dated Megan Fox, for Christ’s sake! One of the hottest women in Hollywood. So what if she can’t act? Not every actor has to be a consummate thespian. She looks incredible on screen!
Baker is acting himself these days. He played Tommy Lee, of Mötley Crüe fame, in The Dirt. It’s not going to win anyone an Oscar, but it’s a fun film that takes you along for the ride as four degenerates make it huge. What’s not to love?
Mötley Crüe slot by Play'n Go is a similarly fun ride and possibly one of my favorite games.
Gameplay
Mötley Crüe slot begins like one of the band’s music videos: motorcycles, hot girls with big hair in tiny ripped denim booty shorts and fishnet stockings, and the band’s name in flickering pink neon lights.
The soundtrack is enough to get me to play this game for hours. You can choose to listen to Wild Side, Girls Girls Girls, and Live Wire.
There are 20 paylines on a 5x4 grid. The game has an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 96.2% and a medium volatility rating. You can achieve a 5,000x top multiplier, which could land you the massive main prize of €250,000!
The betting range starts at as little as €0.20 and tops out at €50. So you can play small or go big, like Tommy Lee’s infamous member.
Mötley Crüe slot is limited to fiat currencies and the granddaddy of crypto currencies, Bitcoin.
Features
WILDS
SCATTERS
The Scatter symbols are, appropriately, pentagrams. These symbols only land on reels 1, 3, and 5, and landing 3 of them triggers Free Spins.
You’re awarded between 6 and 10 Free Spins. The number of Free Spins you receive is determined by matching numbers on the edges of the 3 Scatter symbols.
FREE SPINS
During Free Spins, the Girls Girls Girls and Live Wire features are active, except when the Wild Side is active.
WILD SIDE
On a non-winning spin in the base game and Free Spins, the right side of the grid, the Wild Side, can randomly activate and award up to 4 Re-spins.
The Wild Side expands one reel to the left per Re-spin, placing Wild symbols in every position until you hit a winning combination covering reels 2 to 4 to create a win or reset until it’s triggered again.
LIVE WIRE
This feature activates randomly during any spin and places up to 5 Wild symbols, one per reel.
GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS
Girl symbols are a pair of lips made out of neon pink lights and can land on reels 2, 3, and 4 in multiple positions and carry a random multiplier of 1x, 2x, or 5x.
If you land 3 symbols, you’re awarded their total value.
KICKSTART MY HEART
While playing Mötley Crüe slot, you’ll notice multiplier values of 10x, 5x, 3x, and 2x on top of reels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, respectively.
When the Wild Side is active during Free Spins, the Kickstart My Heart feature can randomly activate, and depending on which reel the Wild Side has expanded to on the grid, the multiplier will light up and be applied to any win created below.
Performance
I tested this game on my Windows laptop running Google Chrome and on my Android phone using DuckDuckGo.
As much as I love this slot, I experienced persistent loading and server connection issues. The game would sometimes fail to load or stall when starting up, and during the game it would freeze, forcing me to refresh the page.
Maximum Win
The betting starts at €0.20 and goes as high as €50. The max multiplier is 5,000x, which, when paired with the highest bet, awards you the game’s maximum win of €250,000.
Conclusion
I started playing Mötley Crüe slot on a Thursday night and immediately thought to myself, this is the best possible slot to play on a Friday. It’s a straight-up party!
Play’N Go outdid themselves by applying the 80s L.A. heavy metal aesthetic. Making this a fitting tribute to one of rock music’s most iconic Hair Metal bands.
The Wild Side Re-spin feature is clever and is a great way to potentially reward players (and motivate them to keep playing) even when they aren’t winning.
The Girls Girls Girls and Live Wire features are basically random paying multipliers and additional Wilds, but they stick to the theme, which makes them feel unique, so I’ll give them points for that.
If Mötley Crüe slot didn’t have so many loading issues, I would keep coming back to it to try and win the €250,000 main prize, a surprisingly generous prize given this is only a medium-volatility game.
Check this game out, if not for the potentially big win, but for the music alone. Rock on and hail Satan!
