Net Gains Slot Review

I used to workout a lot. Years of going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week religiously, for 1 to 2 hours a session.💪

Until one Saturday morning, I was almost finished with my final set of incline dumbbell shoulder presses after pullovers and military presses. I could tell from my shoulder suddenly popping out that something terrible was about to happen.

It happened in slow motion. I looked up and saw both dumbbells collapsing toward my face.

I woke up as my gym buddy was lifting me into the seated position. My shoulder was screaming! I swore and clutched the joint, trying to figure out what had happened. And why did I have grit in my mouth?

I probed around my mouth with my tongue and realized I had gaps where there were none before. I grinned humorlessly at my gym buddy and asked, “Is something different?”.

His expression said it all.😲

My front teeth🦷🦷🦷🦷 were gone. Just white shards poking out of gums, gushing blood. Thus ended my gym obsession.

By the looks of the crew you meet in Net Gains slot by Relax, they never stop eating protein and making gains.

Gameplay

Arnold Schwarzenegger would be impressed with the anthropomorphic animals’ physiques working on the fishing vessel in Net Gains slot.

The animated cutscenes are hilarious, and the background changes from the base game to the Free Spins.

You play on a 6-reel, 4-row grid with 4,096 ways to win. Regardless of their vertical position, matching symbols must appear on all six reels to result in a win.

All the normal symbols that form a win explode and disappear; the remaining symbols fall down, and new symbols cascade in to fill the gaps, potentially creating new wins. Cascading symbols end when there are no new wins.

The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. for this game is 96.1% and has high volatility.

You can bet as little as €0.10 or as much as €15. And you should know that Net Gains slot is limited to fiat currencies only. Sorry, crypto bros.

The top multiplier you can hit is 15,000x your current bet, and if you’re betting the upper limit, then you could walk away with the game’s maximum win of €225,000.

Features

WILDS

The Wild symbol appears on reels 2 to 6 in the base game and Free Spins and substitutes for all normal symbols to create winning combinations.

There are two different Wild symbols in the Stacked WildsUnlike fully expanded Wilds, which is a single Wild that takes over an entire reel, Stacked Wilds will appear as individual symbols stacked one on top of another. They can take over a reel but don’t always have to. Free Spins, which I will get into below.

MYSTERY SYMBOLS

In the base game, you’ll encounter 3 types of Mystery symbols:

Regular Mystery symbol
These symbols land and reveal a normal symbol. Multiple Regular Mystery symbols on the reels will all reveal the same symbol.

Octopus Mystery symbol
This mystery symbol selects a symbol already on the reels and changes that symbol into a Mystery that both reveal matching symbols.

Bomb Mystery symbol
This acts the same as a Regular Mystery symbol except that after the initial win it generates is awarded, it explodes, clearing the whole grid of all symbols except Mystery symbols.

FREE SPINS

To trigger Free Spins, you need to collect 3 Bonus symbols, which are golden bells, and you’re given the option to choose what type of Free Spins you would like to play.

Coin Collection Free Spins
If you choose these Free Spins, you’re awarded 8 Free Spins. The aim is to collect Gold, Silver and Bronze Coin symbols by landing a Collection Chest or Persistent Collection Chest symbol.

The initial values of the Coin symbols are:

Bronze Coin symbol = 2x - 25x your current bet.
Silver Coin symbol = 7x - 50x your current bet.
Gold Coin symbol = 20x - 300x your current bet.

For the multiplier values to apply to any wins, you need to land one of the two Chest symbols.

Collection Chest symbol collects all the Coin symbols that land on the reels for that spin and subsequent cascades, applies their sum total multiplier to your current prize, and is removed from the grid on the following spin.
Persistent Collection Chest symbol awards 5 additional Free Spins when it lands. It’s also sticky, remains on the grid, collects all the Coin symbols that land and awards their sum total.

There is also a Coin meter that fills one step for every Coin that lands on the reels. Once you’ve filled the meter by landing 10 Coins, you’re awarded 1 additional Free Spin, and the value of all the coins is increased by 1x up to 6 times.

At random, 10 Coin symbols of the same type can land at once.

Sticky Mystery Free Spins
If you pick this option, you’re awarded 5 Free Spins. Mystery symbols are more frequent, are also sticky, and remain on the grid until the end of the Free Spins.

There are 3 variations of the Mystery symbol, which only land on reels 2 to 6.

Regular Mystery symbol: All reveal a different normal symbol for every new spin.
Octopus Mystery symbol: Selects a symbol already on the reels and changes that symbol into a Mystery, both revealing a matching symbol on subsequent spins and cascades.
Bomb Mystery symbol This symbol lands and remains on the grid until the end of the Free Spins. It explodes once when it lands, clearing the whole grid of all symbols except Mystery symbols.

For every win involving any type of Mystery symbol, you fill the Mystery Symbol meter by 1, and after 3 of these wins, you’re awarded a new regular Mystery Symbol and 1 additional Free Spin.

Stacked Wild Free Spins
With this option, you’re awarded 7 Free Spins. There are two types of Wild symbols int play during these Free Spins.

Multiplier Wild carries a multiplier of either 2x or 5x that is applied to any wins it forms part of.
Countdown Wild has a counter of 3, and for every win, the Countdown Wild forms part of the counter, which goes down by 1, at which point it explodes and is removed from the grid.

And finally, there is an Extra Spins symbol in all the Free Spins games, which awards 2 additional Free Spins when it lands.

LUCKY BOOST

Lucky Boost can be triggered randomly at the start of any Free Spins, increasing the chances of winning combinations.

BUY BONUS

If you get tired of trying to trigger Free Spins in the base game, you can also buy a Free Spins game for 100x your current bet and choose which of the 3 Free Spins modes you would like to play.

ANTE BET

You can give yourself an 82% higher chance of triggering Free Spins for an additional 20% of your current bet.

Performance

I tested Net Gains slot on my Windows laptop and Android phone. I didn’t encounter any bugs, glitches, or loading issues.

Maximum Win

The betting range is €0.10 to €15. The highest multiplier possible is 15,000x, which opens the way to a grand prize of €225,000.

Conclusion

This is a brilliant slot from Relax Gaming, one of my personal favorite game developers. They consistently release games that are fun to look at, fun to play, and offer a decent chance at making some dough.

I love options in a game that let you decide the type of game you want to play and what will give you the best return. So 3 completely different Free Spins is perfect to me. My personal favorite would have to be the Sticky Mystery Symbol Free Spins.

I also like that you can skip trying to trigger Free Spins and purchase them for a reasonable price.

I recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a well-made slot with a decent chance of making some money if they’re lucky.
