Pegasus Cash Spree Slot Review
Why do we always want to imagine creatures that can fly🪽? And not just any animals—the heaviest, most ungainly beasts🤨.
When pigs🐖 fly, it's utterly absurd and implies an impossibility. Flying monkeys🐵 serve as henchmen for the Wicked Witch of the West. Angels are humanoids with wings that fly😇.
I saw a documentary about what it would take for humans to be able to fly with wings, and it said we would have to move our butts, our strongest muscles, to the middle of our backs to flap wings big enough to achieve flight. Imagine your ass half way up your back😆.
Then there’s the griffin, a lion with wings😬. I’ve seen a lion up close. If those things had wings, I doubt humans would’ve stood a chance at becoming the apex species on Earth.
Winged horses—now that might be harmless, except if they pooped💩 in the air. When you play Quickfire' Pegasus Cash Spree slot, think about that image.
Gameplay
This is a high-volatility, 5-reel, 3-row game with 20 fixed paylines that has a 96.2% RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate.. This is a fiat currency-only game except for the Japanese yen and Russian ruble.
You can bet from $0.20 to $28. The peak multiplier is 7,210x and can lead to the game’s prize limit of $201,880.
The high-paying symbols are red, purple, green, and blue gemstones.
The Wild symbol is a pegasus, and can land as 1x1, 1x2, and 1x3 size symbols, which can substitute for all symbols except Cash Spree, Free Spin, Multiplier, Mystery, and Wheel Trigger symbols.
Features
CASH SPREE SYMBOLS
Cash Spree symbols are gold symbols that carry the Mini, Minor, Major, Mega, and Grand Jackpot prizes, as well as cash prizes up to 8x your bet. The last 2 reels feature larger Cash Spree prizes and Jackpots.
You can win these prizes by landing Cash Spree symbols on reels 1 and 2, as well as any Cash Spree symbol on adjacent reels to the right.
MYSTERY SYMBOL
In the base game, the Mystery symbol can land on any reel and transform into any of the symbols except the Multiplier, Wheel Trigger, and Free Spins symbols.
FREE SPINS MULTIPLIER
Above the reels, a Free Spins Multiplier is displayed. It starts at 1x and increases by 0.5x up to 10x. Whenever a gold coin has an X on it, Multiplier symbol appears during the base game.
The Free Spins Multiplier applies to all wins during Free Spins, excluding the Free Spins Wheel, Grand, and Mega Jackpot prizes. The Free Spins Multiplier will reset between 1X and 4X after a round of Free Spins is complete.
FREE SPINS
The Free Spins symbol appears on reels 2, 3, and 4, and can be triggered when three appear on the reels at once. You then spin the Free Spins Wheel, where each wedge contains a number of Free Spins. You can win 8, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 Free Spins.
Landing 3 Free Spins symbols during the feature allows you to retrigger the same number of Free Spins that the Free Spins Wheels awarded.
WHEEL BONUS
The Wheel Trigger symbol is a wheel that only appears in the base game, and whenever it lands, there is a chance it can award 1 spin on the Wheel, which can award one of the game’s Jackpots.
JACKPOTS
- Mini Jackpot = 10x your bet.
- Minor Jackpot = 20x your bet.
- Major Jackpot = 50x your bet.
- Mega Jackpot = 250x your bet.
- Grand Jackpot = 2,500x your bet.
Performance
This game performed perfectly on my gaming laptop and Android phone.
Maximum Win
The biggest win here is $201,880, which can be achieved by placing the maximum bet of $28 and hitting the 7,210x top multiplier. The minimum bet is $0.20.
Conclusion
Aside from the Cash Spree mechanic, this is a fairly standard game. If you can land a Cash Spree on every reel, you can win some really impressive prizes.
Building up the Free Spins Multiplier during the base game is a fairly common mechanic these days, and it can be exciting when you build it up to the max before you trigger the feature.
The game is rather generous with the amount of Free Spins you can win, but they are challenging to trigger. I had more luck triggering the Wheel Bonus than Free Spins.
There are more Mini Jackpot segments on the Wheel Bonus, and only 1 segment awards the Grand Jackpot, so you're more likely to win the smallest Jackpot than the bigger ones.
I highly recommend this game. Give it a spin!
