Play with the Devil Slot Review
Humans are not noble creatures; they are fallible and tend to be drawn to the easy life, quick fixes, and cheap highs. We are the devil’s playthings, and I learned this quite literally at a very young age. 😈
As a kid, my friends and I used to play with fireworks, and one of our favorites was a firecracker called ‘The Devil’s Plaything.’ It would spout a beam of red sparkles before exploding violently. It was the perfect mix of show and sound. 🎆💥
In high school, I nearly got expelled when we used one of these bad boys to blow up a toilet. Needless to say, I learned that day that playing with the Devil was awesome. 😅
Play with the Devil slot by Red Tiger has a badass name and a lot to live up to, so can this slot game make me feel like the Devil did back in school? Let’s find out. 🎰
Gameplay
This game looks great: the 3x5-reel grid sits on a heap of a pile of gold and is supported by a set of evil-looking horns, while a Pentagram sits above the grid. To the left, you’ll see all the available Jackpots. The soundtrack is suitably hellish, too.
The high-paying symbols are Red Jewels, Blue Orbs, Satanic Bibles, Scrolls, and Snake Bracelets.
The Devil Wild substitutes all paying symbols, but it can only appear on the central position of the middle reel. When the Devil Wild appears alongside Bonus Prizes and/or Devil Coins in a single spin, it unlocks them and pays their combined amount.
During regular gameplay, the central position may randomly re-spin if the Devil doesn't initially appear.
Every Devil Coin contains a random multiplier ranging from 0.5x, 1x, to 2x. These multipliers are only awarded when the Devil Wild lands alongside Devil Coins and unlocks them. The prizes from multiple coins are accumulated.
You also get four types of Bonus Prize Symbols, each with its own multiplier: Mini Bonus (5x), Minor Bonus (10x), Major Bonus (75x), and Mega Bonus (1,000x). When a Devil Wild appears with one or more Bonus Prizes, their values are added together and awarded to the player.
Is it worth playing with the Devil? Play with the Devil slot features a high volatility rate and an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 95.71%. There are 20 paylines, and you get a max multiplier of 2,523x.
Unfortunately, playing with the devil won’t get you very far: the maximum win is a disappointingly low $126,150.
Features
FREE SPINS:
Whenever the Devil Wild lands in the middle of the grid, he throws fireballs at one or both chests above the reels. When this happens, there's a chance that one or both chests will randomly burst open, triggering a Free Spins round.
If only one chest opens, you’ll receive 6 Free Spins. If both chests activate, you get 12 Free Spins.
During the Free Spins round, the Devil Wild remains locked in position on the grid and continues to throw fireballs at the chests on each spin, providing an opportunity to retrigger this mechanic.
JACKPOTS:
Play with the Devil slot also features a unique Progressive Jackpot that can be randomly triggered.
You can win the Progressive Jackpot by landing three or more Jackpot symbols. Once you’ve triggered the Progressive Jackpot, you’ll have to spin the Jackpot Wheel to win one of the offered tiers (Hourly or Super Jackpot).
The Progressive Super Jackpot accumulates from player bets across numerous websites, with part of each bet contributing to the pot and a seed fund. Once won, a new Jackpot starts accumulating with no ceiling value.
The Hourly Jackpot is guaranteed to pay before a set date and time, with the prize pot growing with each spin. Once won, a new Hourly Jackpot begins with no ceiling.
Performance
The Devil is most certainly in the details, and I’m glad to report that this game plays perfectly well on mobile phones and across all popular platforms, even after hundreds of cursed spins. Just be on the lookout for a quick timeout rate.
Maximum Win
Why in the devil would you want to play a slot game with a high volatility rate if it doesn’t offer a decent max win? Seriously, can someone ask Booming Gaming that question?
Play with the Devil slot offers a max multiplier of 2,523x and a betting range of $0.10 to $50, but can only summon a max win of $126,150.
Conclusion
Let’s not kid around; playing with the Devil is always a good time, and Play with the Devil slot proves that. This game doesn’t offer any game-changing features, but it does provide solid gameplay and good-looking graphics.
The Devil Wild offers some decent opportunities to score bigger wins thanks to its fire-throwing mechanic, and there are a bunch of bonus prizes and even a Progressive Jackpot that adds the element of time to your chances of winning.
Play with the Devil slot plays well on mobile phones, too, but unfortunately, there's a big but.
Red Tiger Gaming likes to dabble with the Devil and offers another demonic slot game named Devil’s Number slot. This game is even more basic but does offer the same Progressive Jackpot feature and a similar max multiplier.
Play with the Devil slot has a high volatility rate, but the max win is terribly low. I’ve seen games with low volatility rates that pay higher. I guess this is what you get when you want to mix with the Devil himself.
