Gameplay

The backdrop is deep underwater, all dark blue columns and murky depths, with Poseidon himself standing guard to the left of the reels, looking as if he’s already annoyed by the results.

The game uses a 5-reel, 4-row grid. High-paying symbols include a Sea Serpent, a Viking Ship, and Pegasus. Mid-range symbols are a Golden Temple and Dolphins. Low-paying symbols are the traditional card royals A through 9.

Conclusion

The feature lives or dies on how many Amphorae crack open at once. A single enhancement isn’t bad, but once you get MultiX and Burst! running together in the same round, it’s a different situation.

Burst! stuffs extra Coins into adjacent positions before the Collection happens, and then MultiX applies up to 5x to the whole thing, so the total Poseidon sweeps up is already bigger than what was there naturally, and it’s getting multiplied on top of that.

xSpins doesn’t collect at all, which throws people off. Instead, values sit and build across a Re-spin session, with Hearts acting as the fuel. It’s pretty much a coin flip as to how it plays out.

Jackpots need Reel 3’s Amphora to break, or they simply don’t exist that round, and the Grand at 20,000x is a one-shot deal even when they are available. There’s no Buy Bonus to force any of this, so the whole game is essentially organic from start to finish.

Medium volatility at least means the feature comes around fairly regularly, which takes some of the pressure off waiting for a multi-Amphora trigger.

The 25,000x sits completely outside all of this. It’s a base game event, where the Purple Orb lands together with Poseidon on a max bet. No warning, no setup, no connection to the Amphorae or the enhancements. It either lands or it doesn’t.
