Pot of Fortune Slot Review
When I lived aloneđ˘, I would cook one-pot đ˛meals and eat them over a few days. Like most single fellas who work long hours and donât like to eat out or dine on junk food constantly.
Plus, it was easier than trying to come up with and prepare a meal every nightđ¤.
One time, I made a pot of chicken a la king. Deliciousđ¤¤. I was very pleased with the outcome.
The next night, I donât know if I had left it out or the fridge turned off at some point, or maybe I didnât heat it up correctly, but I got food poisoningđ¤˘.
For the next 24 hours, I thought I was going to die on the toiletđ˝.
That was a pot of misfortune. Pragmatic Playâs Pot of Fortune slot is, with a bit of luck, going to turn the next 24 hours of your life into the best day of your lifeđĽł.
Gameplay
It's always St Patrickâs Day in my house. But St Pattyâs Day is around the corner which explains why there are so many Irish folklore-inspired slots like Pot of Fortune slot.
You play on 5 reels with 20 paylines.
The high-paying symbol are a pretty lady leprechaun, a leprechaun hat, some pink boots, a mug of beer, and a smoking pipe.
The Scatter symbol is a purple pot of gold that can appear on any reel. The Wild symbol is a gold pot and substitutes for all paying symbols.
The RTPRTP stands for âReturn to Player.â The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a gameâs volatility rate. is 96%, and the volatility is very high.
You can bet between $0.20 and $70. The top multiplier is 5,000x your bet, which, if we do the math, can award a payout of $350,000.
You can play with any currency you like, but not the Japanese yen.
Features
FREE SPINS
You need to land 6 or more Wild and Scatter symbols in any combination to be awarded 8 Free Spins. You can only win 8 Free Spins irrespective of how many Wilds and Scatter trigger the feature.
All the triggering symbols transform into sticky Wild symbols and stay in place for the duration of the feature. Unfortunately, no more Wild or Scatter symbols appear during Free Spins and you canât trigger additional Free Spins.
BUY BONUS
You can instantly trigger 8 Free Spins for 80x your total bet and on the very next spin, 6 or more random Wild and Scatter symbols will hit.
ANTE BET
You can toggle on the Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. feature and pay 0.25x your bet to increase your odds of triggering Free Spins by adding more Scatter symbols to the reels.
Performance
I tested Pot of Fortune slot on my Windows gaming laptop and Android phone, and it played perfectly on multiple browsers.
Maximum Win
The highest payout here is $350,000, and thatâs possible by hitting the 5,000x while betting $70 a pop. You can also bet $0.20.
Conclusion
The best thing about Pot of Fortune slot is obviously the massive win limit.
Unfortunately the only feature to speak of here is the Free Spins round, which is triggered by landing any combination of Wild and Scatter symbols. The Wild symbol does the same job as the Scatter, unlike most games.
Youâre only ever awarded 8 Free Spins, which is not spectacular. And you cannot even retrigger Free Spins. Compared to the flood of Irish-themed slots currently available these days, Pot of Fortune slot is a little stingy.
The sticky Wilds definitely help form some wins, but there is only so much you can win in just 8 spins.
As much as I like Buy Bonuses that allow you to trigger Free Spins, this slot essentially charges you 10x your bet for each Free Spin. So not entirely affordable or profitable.
Instead, the Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature. doubles your chances of triggering Free Spins for just 25x your bet. So toggling it on and triggering Free Spins this way could work out vastly cheaper, but it also will take some luck.
Would I recommend this slot? Not really. There are so many other options available that offer far more than just Free Spins, and donât require 6 symbols to land simultaneously to trigger them.
