Raging Rex 2 Slot Review
Introduction
Imagine if you had 20 mouths to feed, and your arms were so short you couldn’t scratch your ass. It’s no wonder that T-Rexes always seem to be angry!
Another probable reason why our T-Rex homie was less than amenable might have been because his hatchlings killed his street cred.
Yeah, dad was all like “Rooooooaaaaaarrrr! I’m the king of the world!” until he settled down and had hatchlings. Imagine the King Tyrant staring down his quarry when out run his kids, all covered in peach fuzz!
Yip, new scientific evidence shows that T-Rex hatchlings were born with scales and feathers! Ain’t no one gonna take that shit seriously.
But what is serious business is Raging Rex 2 slot from Play'n Go. Let’s see how this game fares.
Gameplay
It’s a jungle out there!
This jungle though, is packed to the gills with things that wanna eat you. And on that note, you’ll see a 3D T-Rex running at you from the reels. Adding to the sense of drama is a theatrical soundtrack. It’s heart-thumping stuff!
What is a nice touch is that Play’N Go has made the controls look like they’re made from rock and that’s something many studios don’t pay attention to. They usually just copy and paste their generic controls from game to game.
Raging Rex 2 slot is a follow-up to Raging Rex slot, and that one also offers 4,096 ways to win, a very similar RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. (this game’s is 96.2% while its predecessors is 96.34%), and 6 reels to play on.
Raging Rex 2 slot has a very low scope when it comes to betting, though. You can start the fun at €0.10 but you can only bump it up to €7.50.
Hopefully, the medium volatility means you’ll see more frequent wins, even if they aren’t that high in their payout.
Features
The baddest of all the dinosaurs, the T-Rex, along with his offspring are our Wilds. These symbols substitute for every other symbol except the Scatters.
The egg Scatter will get you Free Spins. These can be retriggered up to 5x if you subsequently pull in a Rex Wild on reels 2 to 6.
During Respins
The Rex Wild is sticky and will walk towards reel 1, at a rate of 1 reel per respin. Hey, he’s the king of the world; he doesn’t need to rush for anyone!
As for his hatchlings, these are also sticky and they walk either in front of, or behind papa Rex.
During Free Spins
You’ll be able to choose between Primal Fury, Hatchling Mania, and Jurassic Mayhem, but I’ll get to that in a sec.
Coming back to the Free Spins feature, 3 – 6 Scatters will trigger this round. As for how many Free Spins you get, that will depend on the number of Scatters and the specific feature that you’re playing.
When it comes to payouts, 3 – 6 Scatters can see you rewarded with up to 100x your total bet.
Primal Fury
Rex is sticky here and moves either right or left. The hatchlings aren’t though.
3 Scatters = 8 Free Spins
4 Scatters = 12 Free Spins
5 Scatters = 16 Free Spins
6 Scatters = 20 Free Spins
You can also scoop up to 18 extra Free Spins.
Hatchling Mania
Hatchlings can move wherever they want during Free Spins (versus during Respins) and pops doesn’t show his scaly face here. Hatchlings are also sticky.
Hatchlings can have either 2x or 3x multipliers and these are added together if the hatchlings participate in the same win.
During this feature, you’ll also get Free Spins for Scatters, but it breaks down like this now:
3 Scatters = 7 Free Spins
4 Scatters = 9 Free Spins
5 Scatters = 11 Free Spins
6 Scatters = 13 Free Spins
Again, you can score extra Free Spins – up to 12 of them this time.
Jurassic Mayhem
Here, all Wilds are sticky. They can also move wherever they like during the Free Spins round.
3 Scatters = 5 Free Spins
4 Scatters = 7 Free Spins
5 Scatters = 9 Free Spins
6 Scatters = 11 Free Spins
You can claim up to 5 extra Free Spins during this round.
Performance
Raging Rex 2 slot took a while to load on my phone, but after that it was smooth sailing. I didn’t have any loading time issues when testing the game out on my laptop.
Maximum Win
In keeping with the mammoth size of our short-armed hero, the multiplier for this game comes in at a hefty 30,000x. That could clinch you a top prize of €225,000.
Conclusion
Raging Rex 2 slot has a bunch of positive things going for it, namely the volatility, the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate., the max win, and the fact that it’s super fun to engage with. The animations and the soundtrack will definitely keep you glued to your screen.
It took a long time for me to get into any of the features, but that’s just how volatility works, so don’t get disillusioned if the same thing happens to you.
You’ll forget all about your challenges when you get into the Free Spins round and see daddy Rex lumbering across the screen. It’s like playing in a movie!
Once you get to this point, you’re hopefully in for a bunch of Respins, which could land you some serious moolah. Playing Raging Rex 2 slot is not just an adventure, it’s theatre at its best!
