Rainbow Mania Slot Review

I’m generally a bit of a ditz, so it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that I initially confused the name of Rainbow Mania slot (from Habanero), for something a little more sinister.

While “mania” generally connotes something positive – or at least fun (if a little chaotic), rainbow “mafia” sounds more like the alphabet army… if you catch my drift.

Not to be overt here (I don’t think I’m allowed to be), but let’s just say that I was initially under the impression that this slot would show a gang of JK Rowling’s least favorite people on a Godfather-style rampage.

Wild stuff.

Luckily, we’re sticking with something a little more tame – it’s just leprechauns and four-leaf-clovers over here folks.

Sorry, “folx.”

Gameplay

If you’re a fan of Irish folklore (I mean, you kind of have to be as a gambler), then allow Rainbow Mania slot to be your newest obsession. There’s no doubt that this game loves the short, ginger, curlies – leprechauns (keep your mind out of the gutter).

I mean, it’s about as Irish as they come. Rainbow Mania slot has distinct graphics and sound effects, which help elevate the overall vibe of the game. It’s an experience from start to finish, taking place across 5 reels and 17 paylines.

With leprechauns and pots of gold as its main symbols, and other symbols such as bells, harps, horseshoes, and clovers, the visual language of this slot is clearly skewed in one direction.

It’s also fully mobile compatible, having been built on HTML5 technology. You can play it on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop – just get spinning.

The RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. comes in at 96.75%, and there’s a high volatility rate and 2,031x bet multiplier to play around with. The max win comes in at a reasonable €91,395, courtesy of the bet multiplier.

Features

WILDS

There are two Wilds, one represented by a leprechaun and the other by a golden horseshoe. Both substitute for all symbols except the Scatter.

FREE SPINS

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters anywhere on the reels will trigger 13, 33, or 133 Free Spins respectively.

POT OF GOLD FEATURE

This feature can appear on either the 1st or 5th reels and trigger an expanding Wild on the 3rd reel if only 1 Pot of Gold is visible. But if both Pots are visible, you’ll get expanding Wilds on all 3 middle reels. The paylines will also pay both ways whenever an expanding Wild is present on the grid.

BUY BONUS

You can choose to buy the Free Spins feature, by clicking on the BUY BONUS button below the reels. The price will change according to your bet and the number of spins you’d like to buy, so it’s best to just test it out for yourself.

Performance

I tested Rainbow Mania slot on my iPhone 13 and MacBook Pro, and my experience was totally smooth sailing. It’s all good in the hood over here, folx.

Maximum Win

Rainbow Mania slot has a max payout of €91,395.

Conclusion

Rainbow Mania slot is hardly the most complex game out there, but its simplicity is part of its appeal. The gameplay is streamlined and polished, and the graphics are truly lovely to behold.

The Free Spins and Pot of Gold features are really nice additions to the game, and overall I had a fantastic time playing it. This is definitely one you’re going to want to try out.
