Red Hot Riches Slot Review

Growing up and living in a hot part of the world, you acclimatize to the heat 🌞 and are mostly unaffected by it. Unlike people from colder climates⛄.

Like one buddy from England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. He visited for a couple of weeks during the summer, and as you do, you spend a lot of the vacation on the beach🏖️.

The downside of all the sun, sand, and salt water you can handle is that you can get a nasty, red-hot rash around your crown jewels👑.

Very different from the Red Hot Riches slot Quickfire will give you.

The worst part is that everyone knows you’ve got a burning crotch because you can’t help but walk bowlegged.

Gameplay

Red Hot Riches slot is a fiat currency-only game with the exception of the Japanese yen.

When you fire up the slot, you’ll find 5 reels with 4 positions each, and there are 3,125 ways to win. Simply land matching symbols from the leftmost reel to the right anywhere on adjacent reels to create a win.

Winning symbols are removed from the reels, and symbols drop in from above to fill the gaps. This continues until no new winning combinations are created.

The best win you can get is a sizable chunk of change of **€240,000, but only if you can hit the biggest possible multiplier of 5,000x **while betting the maximum stake. You can bet as little as €0.30 or as much as €48.

To the left or above the reels, depending on what device you’re playing on and if your phone is in landscape or portrait mode, is a set of 3 bar meters called the Upsizer.

The Upsizer comes into play when you trigger Free Spins, which I will expand on below.

Speaking of playing on different devices, you can play this slot on a PC or your phone, and it looks and functions perfectly on both.

The volatility is set to be very high, and the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96.25%.

Features

WILDS

The Wild symbol is a gold W, and it substitutes for all symbols with the exception of the Scatter symbol.

SCATTER

The Scatter symbols are a blue and red diamond symbol. Landing 3 Scatter symbols triggers Free Spins based on your Upsizer Level.

Additional Scatter on the reels when you trigger Free Spins will each award a 10x win.

During the base game, landing 3 or more Scatter symbols will award you a special gold Max Upsizer symbol.

Collecting 5 of these Upsizer Max Coins will trigger Free Spins with Upsizer Level 9.

ECHO ROLL

Echo Roll is a brazier full of gold. After any win, the game will randomly fill the gaps with a single instance of a high, low, or Wild symbol.

UPSIZER

During the base game, random symbols can land with an Upsizer Coin.

These coins are collected and level up the Upsizer.

The Upsizer has 9 levels.

  • Level 1: 6 Free Spins, 10x Win Multiplier
  • Level 2: 7 Free Spins, 10x Win Multiplier
  • Level 3: 8 Free Spins, 10x Win Multiplier
  • Level 4: 8 Free Spins, 20x Win Multiplier
  • Level 5: 8 Free Spins, 20x Win Multiplier, 1 Echo Roll
  • Level 6: 9 Free Spins, 20x Win Multiplier, 1 Echo Roll
  • Level 7: 10 Free Spins, 20x Win Multiplier, 1 Echo Roll
  • Level 8: 11 Free Spins, 20x Win Multiplier, 1 Echo Roll
  • Level 9: 12 Free Spins, 50x Win Multiplier, 2 Echo Rolls

The number of Upsizer Coins required to level up increases the higher you get.

  • Level 1: 0 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 2: 10 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 3: 20 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 4: 20 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 5: 30 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 6: 30 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 7: 50 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 8: 75 Upsizer Coins
  • Level 9: 100 Upsizer Coins

FREE SPINS

During Free Spins, every time a win is created and new symbols drop in, the Win Multiplier increases by 1x.

The Win Multiplier does not reset during Free Spins.

Depending on the Upsizer level you reached before triggering Free Spins, will determine the max the Win Multiplier can get to, either 10x, 20x, or 50x.

During this feature, each Scatter symbol that lands awards 1 additional Free Spin. If you land more than 3 Scatters on a Free Spin, each Scatter again awards a 10x win.

After Free Spins ends, you’ll get a chance to spin a wheel that will award you the number of Upsizer Coins before heading back to the base game.

You can win 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, or 150 Upsizer Coins.

Performance

I tested this slot on my PC laptop and Android phone, and it worked perfectly on both.

Maximum Win

Bets range from €0.30 to €48. The top multiplier is 5,000x, which can lead to the game’s largest prize of €240,000.

Conclusion

Red Hot Riches slot is a bit of a sleeper. The title of this slot does not make it clear that this is a beautifully made game with some surprisingly cool features.

The first we should cover is the Echo Roll, which triggers randomly when you hit a win, and instead of random symbols dropping in to fill the gaps, the game adds one type of symbol instead.

I could see how some players might object to having to collect Upsizer Coins to determine the number of Free Spins and Win Multiplier you’re awarded, but the game isn’t exactly stingy during Free Spins.

Every time you hit a win, the subsequent symbol drops increase the Win Multiplier by 1x, so even if you start on the lowest level with 10x, if you’re lucky, you can boost that value fairly quickly.

Plus, the Win Multiplier doesn’t reset during Free Spins.

The game also gives you a chance to trigger Free Spins with the maximum Upsizer Level by collecting 5 special gold Max Upsizer Coins that you automatically collect when you land 3 or more Scatters in the base game.

I’m a huge fan of Red Hot Riches slot, and I recommend it to any player looking for a new slot to spend some time on and potentially make some bank.
