Rex the Hunt Slot Review
I used to occasionally hang out with an emergency room doctor. 👩⚕️ She worked long hours and would pop up late at night or early in the morning to join the party.
She had some truly horrific and sometimes hilarious stories about cases that came in when she was on duty.
One night, she sat down at our table and immediately recounted an event at work that night. At about 1a.m., an otherwise unassuming-looking man awkwardly walked through the doors. 😯
This guy, wearing nothing but a bathrobe, told a story that he had gotten out of the shower, slipped, and fallen onto one of his kids’ toy dinosaurs that were spread around the bathroom floor. To cut to the chase, he had a plastic brontosaurus 🦕( the one with a long neck) stuck where the sun doesn't shine.
But this wasn’t the first time this man had shown up at the emergency room with a toy dinosaur jammed up his butt! It happened 3 times! Each time with a different dinosaur toy! 🤣
She wondered why this guy kept coming back to the same hospital and telling the same story. I pointed out that it was probably the closest one, and it was awkward to drive any kind of distance with something stuck in your bottom.
In Rex the Hunt slot from Thunderkick, you’re on a much different dinosaur hunt than my doctor friend went on. 🫠
Gameplay
Rex the Hunt slot has 6 reels with a 3-4-4-4-4-3 row configuration and 178 ways to land winning combinations. You need to land 3 or more connected symbols of the same type across the reels from left to right, starting on reel 1.
The game’s layout and bold design make it a treat to play on a smaller screen like your phone, whether you’re just chilling on the couch or on the move.
The high-paying symbols include a hunter and 4 dinosaur symbols.
Betting starts as low as €0.10 and goes up to €50. You can play with any fiat currency you like, but no crypto currencies are accepted.
The best multiplier you can hit is 4,000x your current bet, which if you’re betting the upper limit, means you could walk away with the game’s top prize of €200,000!
Last but by no means least, Rex the Hunt slot has an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 96.16% and high volatility.
Features
WILDS
The Wild symbol is a gold W symbol and can substitute for all other symbols except the Scatter symbol.
SCATTERS
Scatter symbols are Rex the Hunt symbols and can only land on the 1st and 6th reels. You’ll need to land a Scatter on both reels to be awarded 10 Free Spins.
FREE SPINS
Any Mystery symbols that were on the reels when Free Spins was triggered are carried over to the Free Spins round.
Those Mystery symbols and any new Mystery symbols that hit during Free Spins are sticky, and stay in place until the end of the feature.
Landing 2 Scatter symbols during Free Spins awards you an additional 5 Free Spins.
STACKED MYSTERY SYMBOLS
Mystery Symbols can land stacked only on reels 2 – 5 and transform into the same paying symbol at the end of a spin.
Performance
I experienced a few issues with being unexpectedly disconnected and having to reload the game on my Windows laptop, but I didn’t experience any issues on my Android phone.
Maximum Win
The minimum bet is €0.10, and the maximum bet is €50. If you bet the maximum allowed, the best multiplier you can get is 4,000x your current wager, which means you could win the game's top prize of €200,000.
Conclusion
I enjoyed Rex the Hunt slot. It has great graphics and is perfect for playing on your phone.
The Stacking Mystery symbols added some excitement to what is a run-of-the-mill slot. The lack of a Buy Bonus feature for Free Spins is a bit of a disappointment since Free Spins can take a long time to trigger.
The potential of winning €200,000 is what will really attract players here. Despite some occasional disconnection issues on certain platforms, Rex the Hunt slot is a potentially rewarding game and worth a spin.
