Rush Riches Slot Review

I used to work with coworkers who were about as useful as rocks. You know the type—always “busy” but never actually doing anything, like they’re auditioning for a reality show called America’s Next Top Time-Waster😒🔫.

Honestly, I’d have been better off with actual rocks🪨.

At least rocks have some utility—you can use them to hold doors open, skip them across a lake, or, in moments of pure frustration, fantasize about chucking one at someone who just asked you to “circle back on that email.” 🤬

The rocks in Rush Riches from Evoplay, though? They’re even worse. They clog up the reels like unhelpful coworkers hogging the coffee machine☕.

Gameplay

Rush Riches slot is an awesome-looking game set in a mountain gold mine. It has 5 reels, 5 rows, and up to 3,125 ways to win.

Winning symbols explode, allowing new symbols to drop in and fill the gaps. This continues until no new wins are formed.

The high-paying symbols are a mining cart, a lantern, a hammer, a pick, and a shovel. Rock symbols are non-paying symbols removed whenever a winning symbol explodes next to it. There are always between 3 and 15 Rock symbols every spin.

The Wild symbol is the mustachioed prospector that can stand in for any of the pay symbols.

The only currencies you can’t play with are Litecoin and Ethereum. The betting range starts at $0.10 and ends at $30. If you wager the highest bet and hit the game’s top multiplier of 10,000x, you can win $300,000! The game’s volatility rate is high, and the RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.

RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. is 96.11%.

Features

FREE SPINS

You must destroy all the Rock symbols in the base game to trigger Free Spins. You’re awarded 8 Free Spins. During this feature, some Rock symbols will contain Silver or Gold nuggets. The Silver Nugget awards a 1x Win Multiplier, and the Gold Nugget awards 1 additional Free Spin.

BUY BONUS

You can buy your way into a round of Free Spins for 103x your base bet.

ANTE BET

If you toggle on the Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature., you can double your chances of triggering a Free Spin by increasing your bet by 80x your base bet.

Performance

This game played without a hitch on my Android phone and gaming laptop.

Maximum Win

The most you can win here is 10,000x your bet or $300,000 if you’re playing with the highest bet in the range, which goes from $0.10 to $30.

Conclusion

I really liked this game, to begin with, but the way you trigger and the number of Free Spins you’re awarded were a serious disappointment. Plus, I hate the fact that there are so many non-paying symbols in the base game, preventing wins.

At least it has a reasonably affordable Ante BetAn Ante Bet is an option that costs a percentage of your bet but increases your chances of landing triggering symbols that initiate a feature., but the Buy Bonus is cheeky, $3 bucks more than usual.

I much preferred Wild Stacks Super Spins slot. It also has a respectable 10,000x max multiplier and a unique Free Spins feature, where a 1x Win Multiplier and Wild symbol are added on every spin, plus a Jackpot Game. And best of all, there are no non-paying symbols!
