Shining Crown Slot Review

Fruit Slots: You either love them, or you hate them. Sometimes, I straddle both camps. In theory, I love fruit slots - they’re nostalgic, silly, and simple. On the other hand, I often have to review more than one day, and that makes me want to scream. Game developers, I implore you: Please, for my sanity, stop making so many fruit slots. I get that they’re popular memory-bombs, but wow - it’s too much for me to handle.

Gameplay

Shining Crown is 5-reel, 10-payline video slot powered by software from EGT Interactive. This is mostly your run of the mill fruit slot, but it gets its name from the Wild which is represented by a grossly extravagant crown (end hereditary monarchies, right boys?). Other symbols include lucky 7s, cherries, lemons, plums, oranges, grapes, watermelons, and gold bells. There are two Scatters, represented by a gold dollar sign and a purple star. The controls are straightforward, but let’s go through them quickly. On your left, you’ll find your balance display, as well as the toggle which controls the sound, and the menu and information buttons. In the middle of the screen, you’ll see your coin credit levels and preset bets. Click any of the preset bets to get your reels spinning. On the right of the screen is the home button, and the display showing your last win.

Features

So, what features can you expect from Shining Crown?
Gamble: To increase your winnings, you can click on the ‘gamble’ button, triggered after a winning round. All you have to do is guess whether the face-down card is black or red. Guess right, and you’ll double your winnings, but get it wrong, and you’ll be sent back to the base game empty-handed.
Wild: Substitutes for all other symbols besides Scatters.

Unique Features

Shining Crown might be a fruit slot, but it does offer some exciting features:

• Scatter: Gold Scatter can land anywhere on the reels; Purple Scatter can only land on 1st, 3rd, and 5th.

• Jackpot Cards Mystery: A randomly triggered bonus that is activated when a Jackpot Cards stamped game is played. Each of the mystery jackpots is represented by one of the four suits: clubs, spades, diamonds, and hearts. You’ll have to pick 3 matching cards from a pick-field of 12 to be rewarded with the corresponding suits jackpot.

Performance

This might be an old-school looking slot, but it offers a very modern performance. The graphics are shiny, there are no lags, the soundtrack is cheesy but ideal for the game, and it’s available on any device.

Conclusion

I like to moan about Fruit slots, but I really enjoy them. Shining Crown is another solid offering EGT Interactive, so if you like fruit slots and hereditary monarchies this might just be the slot for you!
