Ah the space race, I wish I could have lived through it. What a time to be alive! If there was ever a time to be patriotic, the race to the moon was it. It was a total feat of human ego where taxpayers money was mercilessly shot into space at a severely high velocity. I know since I’m from a country that was not remotely taking part in the race, I would have rooted for Mother Russia.
