Sumo Supreme Megaways Review
I grew up in a very Asian part of town. 🇨🇳🇯🇵🇰🇷 It was so cool. 😎 The food was amazing 🍣🥡, and all the cultural celebrations 🎉 were always a big highlight, but the one thing I loved the most was the Japanese Sumo wrestling. 🤼♂️
When I was about 9️⃣, my mom signed me up for lessons. I was skin and bones, but I played rugby 🏉, so I was a tough little guy. 💪 I went up against porky little Japanese dudes 🐷, and to my surprise, I could actually stand my ground. 😮
Then came the actual competitions. 🏆 I had to wear the traditional sumo underwear, called a mawashi, in front of a ton of people 👀, including my granny 👵, and a bunch of cute girls. 😳 That was enough to stop me from ever competing again. 🚫
Now I’ll just stick to Sumo Supreme Megaways slot 🎰 by Pragmatic Play and wear any type of pants I want. 👖
Gameplay
This is a seriously cool-looking game. The 6x5-reel grid is framed by a Japanese temple-like structure, and in the background there’s a massive sumo tournament on the go. The soundtrack gets very irritating after a while.
The high-paying symbols are various Sumo Wrestlers, while the lower-paying symbols are KettleBells
Wilds replace all other symbols except Scatters, and Landing 5 Wilds will pay you 3x your bet.
Extra Weight symbols (Gold Bars) Take on random weights, ranging from 11 to 40. .
This game features a Tumble mechanic
The Tumble Feature activates after every spin. Scatter symbols do not disappear during tumbles; they stay on the screen until the tumbling ends.
In the Target Weight mechanic, every symbol in the game, except for Scatters and Wild symbols has a weight value. With each spin, a random target weight is set on the right-hand side of the grid.
Under each reel, there’s a box showing the total weight of all symbols on that reel. If the total weight meets or exceeds the target weight, the box opens and reveals a prize.
The possible prizes are:
- Money Award: Instantly win a random cash prize. Possible values range from 0.5x to 500x your total bet.
- Multiplier: A random multiplier is applied to all wins and money awards from that tumble. Possible values are x2, x3, x4, or x5.
- Expanding Wilds: WILD symbols fill all positions on the reel above the box.
After every tumble within the same spin, the target weight decreases by 1. Each box can only open once per spin. If all 5 boxes open in a single spin, the final box reveals all 3 prizes: a Money Award, a Multiplier, and Expanding Wilds.
This game has an RTPRTP stands for “Return to Player.” The RTP describes the total bet amount that a game returns to players over millions of spins, and that figure is represented by a percentage. Table games, such as Roulette, typically have higher RTPs than many slots.
RTP needs to be considered in conjunction with a game’s volatility rate. of 96.55%, up to 7,776 paylines, and a max multiplier of 12,500x your bet. The max win is $350,000 and the volatility rate is very high. Ironically, you can’t play with yen.

Conclusion
Sumo Supreme Megaways slot keeps things pretty straightforward compared to the quirky Sumo Sumo slot, which mixes wrestlers and motorboats. With its bright colors and fast-paced action, Sumo Supreme Megaways delivers an enjoyable experience.
True to its name, it features the Megaways mechanic, offering up to 7,776 ways to win, where every symbol adds to your weight counter.
The gameplay revolves around the Target Weight Prize Boxes. The target weight mechanic is fun and unique, but it's also random and volatile, which pairs well with the Tumble feature.
Unfortunately, the prizes can be a bit of a letdown, with cash rewards going as low as 0.5X, and the multipliers and expanded wilds sometimes showing up too late to make a difference.
This can be frustrating, especially since the game is built around these prizes. The Free Spins feature does help, as the Target Weight gradually decreases, making multiple boxes more rewarding over time.
The game’s volatility can still lead to some big wins, and I think it's worth a try for its fun theme, unique features, and potential for exciting payouts.
