Gameplay
This is my first review of 2024, and wouldn’t you know it, it’s an Egyptian-themed game that I’m staring at. I’m not sure if it’s a comforting familiarity or horror that I’m feeling right now but at least the game looks different from the norm.
It is a stunning-looking thing that 3 Oaks has come up with; the game is colorful and vibrant, the symbols are huge – which means Sun of Egypt 4 slot looks superb on a phone – and there’s the requisite Egyptian music that had me scrambling for the MUTE button.
The Wild symbol is a square-jawed Pharoah that you’ll see on all of the reels, and which substitutes for symbols that aren’t Scatters or Bonus symbols.

BONUS GAME:
The Bonus game is triggered once you land 6 or more Bonus, Boost, Mystery, or Super Bonus symbols in any combination. This is a Hold&Win round, meaning only the symbols above will land on the reels.
The triggering symbols are sticky – meaning they’ll stay in the position they landed on – and you’ll get 3 re-spins to start. Land any extra symbols and the spin counter will reset to 3.

SUPER BONUS GAME:

There was plenty of action – in my experience – and the constant potential to grab big bucks from regular wins, Boosted wins, Bonus wins, and Jackpots was ever-present.
My only issue with the game is the volatility rate / top prize mismatch. A highly volatile game should offer a more generous prize, considering that almost all of Sun of Egypt 4 slot’s competitors offer $200k or more.
